BSSode-305-Live at DragonCon! (Party)

September 13, 2010 By: Meg Category: BS, Party, Season 3, Sodes 1 Comment →

Episode Subtitle: Rock you like a hurricane

This episode is a Party Episode which includes those not typical (so don’t start with these!) and live episodes.

On Saturday, September 4th, the BG’s recorded an episode in front of a live, studio audience (no zombies among them!) as part of the offical Podcast Track.  The room had quite a few people in attendance, which made us happy, and we had a good time.  Like all good literature, it drags in the middle, but a wave brought everyone back.

The BG’s at DragonCon!

We had a blast at DragonCon.  A weekend filled with awesome nerdery and sexiness- what’s not to love?  The quote of the weekend was “Don’t make it weird”- and that needed to be said many a time.  Seriously.  Some highlights:

Meg got 235 points on the Debachathon and officially “won” at DragonCon.  Most surprising achievement was making more friends than Zeke.  Also, got her boob signed by Doc Hammer.

Zeke got down to Electric 6 in the lobby, entertaining dozens.

Josh went all Napoleon over a panel’s ass.

Look at how tall we are!

So tall!

Sode #21: Don’t be the Dwarfs (Player 03)

September 22, 2008 By: Meg Category: Diplomacy, Season 2, Sodes 1 Comment →

Warm-Up:

Each time we record, we watch a video or find a picture to get us in the mood for the episode. It doesn’t always have anything to do with the episode, but frames our minds, so we’re going to share so you can be appropriately framed as well.

  • Gaybar by Electric 6 for 2 reasons. 1) We love Electric 6 and are stocked about going to see them (again) on Fri 11/21in Cambridge MA at the Middle East. 2) Hotpants. It reminds us of one of the Brilliant Fanologists at Gencon who wore hotpants for Meg. Thanks Woodrow.

Icebreaker:

  • DragonCon recap. Meg represented the Brilliant Gameologists at DragonCon and the Parsec Awards. Big thanks to Adam from the Podgecast for offering up hotel space and to Cam Banks from Margaret Weis Productions for a great conversation and Jamie Chambers, also of MWP, for socializing even though we trashed your game.

Douchebag of the Week:
