low-level big stupid fighter, limited options, help needed

Well, we'll see what he'll allow and when.  I suspect he might find the knowledge devotion from a cloistered cleric more acceptable than from a regular cleric, just because the character's so stupid and belligerent.  Easier to believe this stuff was drilled into his head by a training regimen that doesn't give you a choice, than that it was a choice he made on purpose and then abandoned.
