Check the Inspire Mount power on page 91 in Complete Psionic.

Now imagine what happens when you channel that through your psicrystal, who's riding on your hat. Give the li'l pet rock a few bits of equipment (such as Riding Boots), a few riding-based feats, and yourself some horseshoes of flame. It's not like you NEED hands while you're manifesting powers, and if you do, there's always Metamorphosis...

You're channeling it through your psicrystal and having your psicrystal target you.

And you can't mount yourself (unless you get REALLY lucky, you dirty bastard), so you normally can't do this.

Discipline Erudite could pick up this power too, but somebody else would have to have it first.

Pretty sure that's just a psywar power, not a discipline power. You could learn it through research or EK, though.

Discipline allows any list, including PsyWar.
 You have to "learn" them, though, at the normal cost.
That's where the Chameleon Crafting feat can get
powerstones of arcane/divine from helpful wizards and archivists.


PsyWar 1 high Wis, picks that power, at least 1 rank in ride.
1b) ... psicrystal
1) ...... Hidden Talent: something to share that lasts about the same time; maybe Claws.
1h) ... whichever mount feat you said earlier in the thread
1f) .... Psi Talent 1
1f) ... Psi Talent 2

2nd level retrain the HT feat, but pick the same power as the level 2 power pick.
1 retrained) ... Psi Talent 3
2) ... Psi Talent 4

Do this every encounter.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the only disciplines are the subtypes of psion. Unless you can show me somewhere that refers to the psywar list as a discipline? 'Cuz I can't think of any place that says that.

Oh ... the Original Erudite does that.
Psion Discipline powers 1 level down can be learned, along with regular Psi/Wilder powers at level.

I was using my shorthand for the Favored Discipline Erudite, perhaps FD Erudite would work better.

Favored Discipline

Unlike most erudites, you have a discipline that you favor above all others.

Replaces: You lose your 1st-level bonus feat.

Benefit: You choose a single discipline and all powers of that discipline, no matter what class list they are on, are considered general psion/wilder powers for purposes of learning.


Chameleon Crafting feat + minimal spell casting prereq = powerstones of spells.
Learn the "powers" off of the powerstones. Have to be in the particular discipline.
