Batman: Arkham Asylum is getting a sequal Official website with trailer can be found here. Doesn't give much, but it looks cool. and Mark Hamil has confrimed that it will be the last time he voices the Joker I saw that when I wiki'd it. It made me sad too. I really wish they'd get David Tennant to be the Riddler. If not here, then at least in the next of Nolan's Batman movies.

Been playing some Front Mission Evolved. The game's actually pretty good, though slightly remniscent of Armored Core, but with a solid Front Mission feel. I don't fully understand the harsh reviews given to it by sites like Gamespot.

Gamespot is known for having one or two people who hate on certain genres.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhfTnxG7lLYAfter watching a few of these I think I've found the first horror game I just might enjoy playing. It's usually a boring genre, but this seems quite entertaining.

The emphasis is on the action side, unlike Armored Core (which focuses a lot on the mecha-building aspect), which isn't a problem for me.

So, has anyone played Super Meat Boy? A coworker pointed me to it on a good deal at Steam, and I got it for under $4. It was totally worth that investment. I've already managed to get two cousins hooked on it. It's a ridiculously Nintendo hard platformer, although, not nearly as bad as I Want to be the Guy. I think the whole point is to find that perfect balance between crazy hard and I-almost-beat-it-maybe-I-should-try- once-more difficult. Anyway, for those of you who played it, I'm most of the way through the salt levels. I haven't been playing for 100% completion or anything. I did make the mistake of letting one of my cousins play on my account, and he proceeded to rack up A+ ratings on all of the forest levels.

My balancing 3.5 compendiumElemental mage test gameQuotesIt is a shame stupidity isn't painful. Totally true. Historians believe that most past civilizations would have endured for centuries longer if they had successfully determined Batman's alignment. Why are so many posts on the board the equivalent of " Dear Dr. Crotch, I keep punching myself in the crotch, and my groin hurts... what should I do? How can I make my groin stop hurting?" I suggest carving "Don't be a dick" into him with a knife. A dull, rusty knife. A dull, rusty, bent, flaming knife. Fluffy: It's over Steve! I've got the high ground! Steve: You underestimate my power! Fluffy: Don't try it, Steve! Steve: *charges* Fluffy: *three critical strikes* Steve: **** I don't even stat out commoners. Commoner = corpse that just isn't a zombie. Yet. When I think "Old Testament Boots of Peace" I think of a paladin curb-stomping an orc and screaming "Your death brings peace to this land!" Buy a small country. Or Pelor. Both are good investments.

So, now that I have PSN access back, I downloaded some of the free DLCs for Batman: Arkham Asylum. Playing as the Joker is WAY too fucking awesome!

8 more days and the release date would have been on my birthday. Seriously, I'm surprised this thing is still up. All things considered, if the game DOES show up this time, I might just get a harem. Also, hell freezing, and all that.

So I got started on this little bizarre gem called Hyperdimension Neptunia.
What they basically did is take Trinity Universe's game style, fill it with SO MUCH MOE I DIED, and make it about console wars.
The game doesn't just break the fourth wall, it rapes and sodomizes it with an oil tanker.
Having plenty of fun so far.
"Hey look! Should I jump from here? Should I shout 'Wahoo!' when I'm jumping?"
"...why don't you throw on some overalls and a red cap while you're at it?"

Dead Money just came out for New Vegas on the PC and the PS3, you could always give that a try. It's definitely not a shooty-bang-bang DLC--if you're familiar with Fallout 3's Pitt, think of that, only here they've actually succeeded at not trivializing survival.

I've just finished Heavy Rain. I gotta say, this game really impressed me. It feels not unlike an old-time adventure game, but with multiple ways to get to different results. And now the spoilers. AHOY! I completed all five trials. I was sure that the last one because of the main motivation behind the Origami Killer. And while the game sure tried to sell that , two small details quickly point out how that's not possible. Since half the fun of the game is guessing who the killer is, I was surprised to find out it was I mean, I'd actually considered him, but Gordi Kramer was before him on my list. The first time I played through the final chapter All in all, great script. Doubt they could have pulled a game like this off with a lesser story.
