lets see after looking over the dragion knight ritual i see no reasion that it would not stack with the Malconvoker class features  Smirk
What ritual from where?

I have to argue that CN and CE are not random. They may act in a random fashion sometimes but no more so than a CG character. There is always a drive and motive, if they were truly random acting characters they would be NPC's that come with a table to roll on for deciding their actions. But we could get into arguments over alignment all day as to what each one really means and still all be wrong according to the other players.

I won't argue it, but I won't. I'm just still upset with the Sunday DM I had, and his CG pixie that, in every essence of the definition, was CE. I put it under the DM thread.

Well i know what that is like i have seam dms that act like the alignment police and some that really don’t care about alignment. As for my character he tries to live in the moment and does what he thinks is right at the time trying to find the lesser of evils . ((note to him he does see the logic of good should not always fight evil but there is times were evil should be fought with another form of evil))

I usually don't mind alignments, and anyone can be anything (I just don't much care for Lawful Stupid because it's unnecessary). But if you're playing the incarnation of CE, and you're LG, or CG, or NG, we're going to talk later.

Getting pretty close. Just tooling around with spell selection and the last bits of my wealth. Would've been done, but I'm not used to creating/playing with 20th level characters, and I've had work to do for classes.

So what's the verdict on Shapechange?

Was it allowed? Disallow? My wizard cohort will be using spell points because that will be easier on me, not having to memorize two guys at once.

I think what kevin said was that Shapechange was an oversight by the organizers, and what I get from that is that it's allowed, probably due to its being a 9th level spell and that sort of thing would be appropriate for a 9th level spell (while polymorph is not as appropriate for 4th level).

Again though, I suppose we'd have to get kevin's official input to have a definite answer.

This has been a crazy week for me, but I should be done by the cut-off date (Oct. 30th, as mentioned on page 1)

No, that's how it is. I found a way to free up a feat, but now I'm not sure what to put in its place. Leadership is always a good choice when allowed, but I get the feeling it would not be entirely welcome in the game, now. Plus, I still need to finish my own character, so there's not as much time to finish a cohort as well.

Shapechange was an oversight, and it's one of those things where they're kind of on the fence. On one side, they're okay with it because it requires an expensive focus (if you call 1500 gold expensive at 20th level), but on the other side they're not too keen on it being 10 mins/level as opposed to the 1 min/level that polymorph was. If I don't hear from them by tomorrow night (and $50 says I don't), then it's allowed. Have a back-up spell just in case though (though likely you won't need it).

As for Leadership, I'm not opposed to it. In fact, I welcome it for the playtest. Seriously. This was meant for 12 players, when it's supposed to be meant for 30 originally (yeah, I'm not putting myself through that), so Leadership basically fills in that gap. You figure six players, and even if only half have a cohort (animal or not), that's a much better way for me to judge how things turn out, and what changes I'd need to make.

BTW, if Saturday's too soon we can hold off for one more day if you really need it to polish things up. It's not like the date's set in stone. I would like to do it no later than Sunday though.

No, it's not. I PMed one of the mods asking what the average wait time was, but haven't gotten a reply yet. Maybe it'll go up tomorrow?
