Would we be allowed to craft our own Items? For example a wizard to craft his own scrolls? You know what? That never got brought up. It was always assumed that you bought all of your items. It makes sense that you could do that if you had the feats, and wizards usually do. For the playtest, I'll say yes. If you have the feats, go for it. However, you guys only get 190,000 XP, so if anything requires you to use XP to build them, you'll end up losing a level. Be careful of that.

Will there be any advancement in XP?
During the adventure that is.

Will there be any advancement in XP? You mean, will you get more XP than than 190,000 over the course of the campaign? I guess I could, but it'd be fairly minimal. I can't promise that you'd have enough to gain extra levels or anything.

I keep forgetting that Google has such a beast. What's the Myth. BP +5 H.Fort? I'm assuming the H.Fort is Heavy Fortification, meaning you can't be critted.

Mithral Brestplate +5 is the rest of it so I can still move full speed. I always misspell Mithral as Mythral because it is cooler with a Y.

Here's my sheet so far: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=248039. Still needs Saves filled in and spell prepped. So far he casts spells spontaneously from many domains. I'll probably keep up a chained greater magic weapon and a magic vestment, you can get your stuff enhanced for 48 hours every other day from me.

I'm going to redo my equipment so it costs less now. edit: oh and I plan on using the spellpoint system as you said was an option. This should give me some endurance and diversity since I'll likely cast a handful of my higher level spells more than anything else.

@ archangel.arcanis - Do not change your stuff and make it cost less. You'd be relying on Mixster's magic to boost it. There's a big problem with that, and it's in the rules. Mixster, be sure to read this as well. You do not know that anyone else is being called to this island. You can't even assume. And even if you did, you have no idea what the other person/people could or would have. Doing this constitutes as metagaming. Not allowed.
Also, I'd re-read the chaining. If you're using the chain metamagic feat, it doesn't work on touch spells. If you've got a feat or something that'll increase a touch's range, then that's fine. Looking at the sheet I don't recognize what it might be though.
@ betrayor - For the water orc, I don't know. That's probably something that we should ask on the Simple Questions thread. I know that if you do that with a regular LA creature that it does that. I'd assume it would work the same, but they may have reasoning to say it doesn't. As for Item Familiars, they don't have it down as not being allowed, so go for it. I know Weapons of Legacy likely aren't allowed as they didn't allow that book, but they then again they don't mention that you can't use the ToB ones either. I think they believe that if they're silent, it's assumed to be a "no".

Touch is not fixed right? It is fixed unless you have the ability to make it ranged. @ betrayor - Just asked on SA. Apparently you can so long as the ritual takes place after you've taken the paragon levels.

Sounds like if I want to play, I'm gonna need better ideas than the ones I posited. Hmm...

Sounds like if I want to play, I'm gonna need better ideas than the ones I posited. Hmm... Possibly just revisions. But at least there's more options available this time than there were in the previous rules set. I mean, only the original three core books, and wild shape switched out for shapeshift, and still no polymorph? Kind of limits you.

Well, what specifically would you need me to change about the things in my post? I don't mind a blunt retort.

Well, what specifically would you need me to change about the things in my post? I don't mind a blunt retort. Nothing, really. I was more just responding to what you said regarding needing better ideas. Personally I like your Eldritch Disciple idea, and the reasoning behind why that person became a hunter.

Still working up the sheet, but the build looks like, Wizard 1/Druid 5/Cleric 1/Beastmaster 1/Arcane Hierophant 10/Swordsage 2 as a Killoren for flavor.

Still working up the sheet, but the build looks like, Wizard 1/Druid 5/Cleric 1/Beastmaster 1/Arcane Hierophant 10/Swordsage 2 as a Killoren for flavor. I'll let that slide. Technically you should be getting hit with a -20% XP penalty for your second level of Swordsage, but if it's what you took at 20th level then there's no argument. Truth be told, I've actually had to re-read the multiclass character rules for the first time in years because I've gotten so used to just ignoring that rule altogether. So from this point on, your character would be taking the penalty, but that's nothing to really worry about since XP is kind of moot at this point. However, I do have a question. How does your Wizard 1 cast 2nd level spells before hitting level 3 to be able to gain access to the Arcane Hierophant PrC?

I would throw off the same combo just to get my own weapons and armour enhanced. And since I can hit like 25 targets with it I'm not gonna use all the charges, even though I'm carrying 2 different bows, a Great Sword, A dire Flail, Gauntlets, Armor Spikes, Shield Spikes and a Dire Flail. I'll need to re-think it, But I think I'll add reach spell. Forgot about the non-touch property.
