Surfingbird 5ft steps and attacks. The dinosaur goes quite crazy. Attack: Claw, Roll: 9 ; 29 damage. Claw, Roll: 16 ;28 Damage. Tail, Roll: 13 ; 22 Damage Bite, Roll 17 ; 5 damage. So I cross my fingers that the thing has a low armour class. Roll:

The Choker looks at Surfingbird half with fear, half with disdain, and is not hit by a single one of Surfingbird's attacks.
In fact, the Choker looks like its starting to think of something...
It's started to smile, if you call what it is doing to its face a smile.

On a strange note, would anyone be put out if we had a post about people or events we can spare a thought for, or if its within their creed, a prayer for? Just a random thought, but ... hells I wouldn't have known about either Archangels daughter or Saeomons niece if I didn't happen to be on these threads.
Sounds fine to me. probably over on "Off-topic". might want to put a little disclaimer in the first post. This is the Min/Max board. We should be able to figure out a way to optimize the POWER OF PRAYER(TM) that doesn't involve "Pazuzu, Pazuzu, Pazuzu". My final project for my film independent study course. It could do with a watching and critiquing

The Choker looks over at the dwarf, just in time to get acid spit splattered over his face. The choker rapidly wipes the acid away, and starts to chatter something utterly unintelligible... In an unknown language;

Xurwkar intones a few words of power, and long tentacles with toothed mouths sprout from his body and his familiar's. They lash out at the choker.

The Choker is absolutely rent to pieces by the familiar's brutal attacks (ooc: I will from now on in my thoughts refer to this as "Familiar 'Roid Rage"), metallic flesh tearing and ripping under the familiar's controlled tentacles. The strips of flesh seem to fade at the edges slightly, and as you all look on, you see that where the choker had been, there is now a belt with a single white gem and two gray ones on the front.
The note that the spellweaver left begins to burn, slowly, and you start hearing the sounds of screams coming from door on the crimson wall.
(ooc: Congrats on killing the choker! You have about a round to grab the note, which is about 30 ft from the closest of you. And the belt is close enough for you guys to grab too. If you want it...)

Angakog will move over there and grab the note, if needed he'll cast winged watcher and fly over there as an owl, grabbing both of the items in his claws.
He'll read the note as soon as he has it.

Reading aloud severely astonished, Angakog says:
"They are coming. We stopped them as long as we could, but they swam through the stone until the keyed the water. Doom upon the ferrets! Doom!"
Hmm, He continues A most peculiar writing, should we be looking for ferrets?

The red door begins to buckle and break; the screams seem to take the form of words, though none that can be heard distinctly. Still, it feels as if something big is going to come through...

Xurwkar and his familiar move adjacent to the door and hide in the gloom that follows them around, their summoned tentacles quivering in readiness to attack whatever comes through.
