Yeah I over looked that. Based on what the cloaked figure had said so far, Sim guessed he was likely a warforged too. So I checked to make sure enchantments worked on warfogred. Saw that mind-affecting spells still work normally but didn't notice the immunties.

Mind if I rework things a bit then? Because honestly. Sleep seems so problematic to use just to begin with(Not to mention the spell is all but useless in a few levels). Kinda regretting choosing a beguiler....

Edit: Would want to move, cast daze first turn. Second turn. Move, draw loaded hand crossbow. So end of second turn would have me 60ft away(same as now, different square though) with one spell cast(that could actually be useful) and crossbow in hand. Sorry about this, should've been paying more attention.

The thing is I don't feel my character would've cast the spell to begin with(16 intelligence, heard what the cloaked figure said and all that). So it's more of a in-character thing than a character-effectiveness issue. But I guess on the other hand, he could use sleep to test his suspicions. Kinda don't really want to go back and edit my posts either heh.

Edit: Edited last post with new target square.

I've taken two turns as well (two punches).

Probably should have just gone with positive energy channeling.  He seems reasonable enough, I'm sure destroying his axe with holy lightning would be enough to convince him he's out of his league.

I would use flash of lightning, but in character I think Cumulo would be kind of worried about the 'forged trying to flee and falling off the side of the bridge.  He wants answers, not more corpses.

Doesn't the bridge have railings?
I was planning on using grease.

Also, Can I nick Flash of Lightning from you? That's a quite nice spell.

I guess at some point.  It's kalamar stuff, so obviously Sohala will need to give it the OK first, since he doesn't have the book.

Personally, I think it should probably have the [light] descriptor, since it's just a really bright, short, light.

I will try and remember to carry inti with the start of each round or some such.

Railings is a yes.

I am trying for the kalamar...dam stuff is expensive. Feel free to use Flash of Lighting.

Yeah, I know.  I lucked out getting mine on the cheap.  Best price I can find online is like eighteen bucks with shipping.

Hadn't expected that shapesand to come in handy so soon.

Sandstorm.

Quote
Shapesand: Shapesand is a special kind of wasteland soil that is psychoreactive; it can be sculpted into any form according to your will. The new object is made of sand, but serves as a normal item of the same sort.
A shapesand hammer functions just like an ordinary hammer, and a shapesand waterskin is just as watertight as an ordinary skin.
Controlling shapesand is an exercise in willpower. A DC 16 Wisdom check establishes control of a volume of sand based on the shaper’s Wisdom score:

Code:
Wisdom  Volume
1–3     None
4–7     1-ft. cube
8–11    2-1/2-ft. cube
12–15   5-f t. cube
16–19   7-1/2-f t. cube
20–23   10-ft. cube
24+     +2-1/2 ft per 4 points of Wisdom
If your Wisdom check succeeds, you can reshape the volume of sand as you desire. Once control is established, the shape lasts as long as you remain within 100 feet of it.
Thus, those with suf?cient patience and strong enough will can construct small fortresses out of shapesand, even if they must do so a few cubic feet at a time.
Another character can wrest control of a shapesand item away from you by succeeding on an opposed Wisdom check, though the winner’s Wisdom score must be high enough to shape an item the size of the one contested. For example, if two characters are attempting to control a 5-foot cube of shapesand, the challenger must not only beat his opponent’s roll, but must also have a Wisdom score of at least 12.

Blah blah sandshapers and the sand domain lets you do extra shit.

A 12 pound jug of it costs 100 gp.  No idea how much volume you get with that, but it has to be more than the volume of 2 pounds of iron.

Does Regenerate Light Wounds (aka Lesser Vigor) work at full effectiveness on warforged?  I've seen people rule it both ways (under the logic that the spell doesn't heal you directly, it's the fast healing it grants that does), and don't want to waste a slot.

However, spells from the healing subschool and supernatural abilities that cure hit point damage or ability damage provide only half their effect to a warforged.

Figure I would point it out with a quote, and fast healing does fall into this category.

I think that is about in the power range of detect thoughts.

I was under the impression that fast healing was (ex), but it really isn't worth arguing about.
