Think I'll get rid of the armor, since it's most of my carrying capacity. Would a crude sonic screwdriver work as a MW UMD tool, if only in regards to scrolls (better ones useful for other magic items in the future)? I know how touchy people can get about UMD, and I can't really boost my cha yet. Even with my artificer +2 boost, I'd like to reliably use my grease scroll. And my mage armor, which looks to become my AC for at least this first level...
