Oh, I thought it was a hallway ending in an abrupt dead end (no room).  Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered searching it.  An abrupt deadend hallway is suspicious, the second abrupt dead-end room isn't.

I thought it was a hall too.  I just wasn't being as... thorough as Chauser.

It looks like the hallway; empty, dusty, same width, same height. It just happens to have a door and wall breaking it up.

Should I put a link in the PoV thread to the present location in the dungeon at the time?

I was just a little confused about the 24 minutes thing, since I was only checking a single square right at the end.

Sohala has graciously allowed me to join this campaign due to the loss of one of your players. Before I finalise my character, I wanted to run it by the rest of the party to see if they have any suggestions or advice to better benefit the party. I'll be taking over the healing roll of Danus Fieldman so as to fill the current void in the party.

I see that you want to solve problems. Not problems like, "What is beauty?," because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of 'philosophy'. You want to solve practical problems. F'r instance, how are you gonna stop some big, mean Mother Hubbard from tearing you a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work? Use more gun.
And if that fails try this

Lesser planetouched represent!

Anyway, I'd suggest strength devotion over strength domain - enlarge person is good, but in a dungeon it's going to be harder to avoid squeezing.

Initiate of Lathander - is Sohola still allowing the silly literal interpretation for it?  If so, drop the prepared CLW.

Strength Devotion is definitely better than Strength Domain. I had forgotten about the penalties for being squeezed in tunnels. Would the other domains/devotions Lathander allow grants be better(Good, Nobility, Renewal, and Protection)?

Edit: I'm honestly not sure what Sohola will rule about Initiate of Lathander granting cure light wounds, but Initiate of Lathander grants the spontaneous spells just as if I was spontaneously casting a cure spell. I prepared it in case someone needed healing ASAP and couldn't wait, but I'll get rid of it if that is not a concern. What would you suggest in place of it?

Lathander & light silliness - I have yet to see it be abusive, so it is still allowed, though I don't get why you did a healing spell, as you can convert to them by default.

For some reason I thought that it took a full round action to convert the spell. I just checked, and that's not the case. Memory Malfunction  Big Grin

Edit: I just finished the history of the character, personality will be up sometime tonight/tomorrow, along with a physical description, if anyone wants to take a look.

Edit2: I dropped Cure Light Wounds and prepared Ebon Eyes(SpC) in its place.

My mistake. How does my equipment look? I'm really iffy on my lack of standard adventuring gear...

Edit: Character sheet is done, but I'm debating switching to cloistered cleric because I'm strapped for skills badly.

I meant to post him also asking to borrow Danus' dagger for it. I guess I forgot. So Danus' dagger, or my spines if I can't use that for whatever reason

I'm not entirely sure if I should make a suggestion that effects in game action yet as I'm not yet with the group, so I'll spoiler it.

Try 'prying' with Danus' heavy mace, the gems should be left unharmed as the are much harder than whatever metal they are set in, so they should pop right out. Don't try if it's pearls though, cause they'll shatter. Although that advice does use some real world extrapolation.

To generalise my statement a bit more, if they aren't gems, don't follow my advice as it may lead to unwanted consequences.

My character sheet is done, but I'm debating on changing over to cloistered cleric for the skills at the expense of a little combat prowess. Do you think I should, or should I leave it?

Edit: 'way' is spelled with a W not an M. . .

Cloistered is an upgrade for most builds, with most of its down sides 'fixable' with spells.
