May I ask for some feats to look into besides multiattack for a totemist? New to the whole incarnum/natural attack monster thing. I'm also a bit iffy about my attributes, considering I doubt I'm going to be wearing very thick armor and 12 dex isn' helping my defence. Also on that note, I may need skill advice too, since I get a a bunch of them on a limited list (at least in my opinion, at least) I'm thinking of mostly taking a bunch of knowledges for devotion, market him as a researcher of magical creatures and use the remaining skill points for niche stuff like 5 in balance and removing illiteracy

I would need your possible basic plan for the character's progression, as that will most likely effect it.

something like barbarian 1 totemist 9 totem rager 10, which also makes skills easier to choose now that I think about it (I need intimidate and survival ranks) unless I misread something that says I need more levels of barbarian. Again, focus is grow a crapton of claws and make with the murder.

Bonus Essentia, Double Chakra (totem), Expanded Soulmeld Capacity, Cobalt Rage, Shape Soulmeld (Therapeutic Mantle)*, Martial Stance (Martial Spirit)*
*Both make a great combo togethor, personally I would take Crusader for level 9 (access to third level maneuvers) and blow my feat on Shape Soulmeld (Therapeutic Mantle)
Other rage feats may be a good idea (I am not a huge rager, so sadly I lack knowledge on that front).
There is of course Improved Natural Attack, Rapid Strike (waving the type requirement), drawing a blank on other natural weapon feats.

where rapidstrike from? Also, does my spine attack let me qualify for multiattack? I have two (well, 4 that are usable logically) spine placements on my arms, so logically it should be possible, but it doesn't say on the stat block.

Rapid strike is draconomicon, pg 73.
Spins count for two weapons, which is short one for multiattack. Melds, once bond to your totem can help you meet the requirement.

How much backstory are you looking for, Sohala? Should we come up with a reason that we're all in a dungeon? Do we know each other?
Edit: Well, it looks like OOC I know why. I take it we're all going to receive individual summons?

My balancing 3.5 compendiumElemental mage test gameQuotesIt is a shame stupidity isn't painful. Totally true. Historians believe that most past civilizations would have endured for centuries longer if they had successfully determined Batman's alignment. Why are so many posts on the board the equivalent of " Dear Dr. Crotch, I keep punching myself in the crotch, and my groin hurts... what should I do? How can I make my groin stop hurting?" I suggest carving "Don't be a dick" into him with a knife. A dull, rusty knife. A dull, rusty, bent, flaming knife. Fluffy: It's over Steve! I've got the high ground! Steve: You underestimate my power! Fluffy: Don't try it, Steve! Steve: *charges* Fluffy: *three critical strikes* Steve: **** I don't even stat out commoners. Commoner = corpse that just isn't a zombie. Yet. When I think "Old Testament Boots of Peace" I think of a paladin curb-stomping an orc and screaming "Your death brings peace to this land!" Buy a small country. Or Pelor. Both are good investments.

Just a basic back story, to help get a feel for the character. No reason for being there. No knownledge of each other.

I added a quick backstory to the bottom of the Personality section of the MW sheet.

Background wise, we have:
Chauser Verde - ooze hater Danus Fieldman - preaching cleric Terek - loner Dalanath - self-absorbed genius Galon Ish'ti - hunter of magical beasts Frank D. Tank - copperless boozer
*Both have nice personalities, but are lacking a why quality.

So it appears that first week of Uni. means a lot of activities and some fair amount of hazing. This leads to me eating and then almost instantly falling asleep when I get home. So I'm of the field, through the locker-room and out of the stadium. There's no way I'll be able to give this the attention it deserves until probably a week from here. So that's a no-go.

the most effective optimization is the one you can actually get away with. (A group of nerds are called a murder because like crows we are anti-social, like shiny things, and often squack at each other over nothing for hours) I often have to remind people not to underrate divination. The ability to effectively metagame without actually metagaming beats the ability to set things on fire more times than not.
