Seeing the death magic rip through the drunk, Akashiel gives Ashara a reproachful gaze, "A little restraint might have been better. Guestright leads both ways."

She then calls out, "Would any vouch for this man?"

Dez walks over to the Drow, obviously ticked-off.

"Was that strictly necessary? I'm not sure if you got the same letter with the same duty my mistress charged me with, but there are more important things to attend to than standing up to pigs."

The Marshall turns to the three women and says "PLease refrain from killing any more quest or i will have to have you detained then put on trial and most likely killed." he says mater of factly before heading to attend to the dead body "How The FUCK am i supposed to get him off the wall."

"Guestright? If you refer to the fact that respect must be offered to the host, the host should have been the one dispensing this justice. If the host objects, I shall make the reparations required... provided the male is still made to pay for his insult toward femalekind."

Hearing Dez' response, Ashara turns to her, looking extremely frustrated.

"Have you no pride, female? Males are sub-humanoid, and their true place is on their knees. This manner of behaviour must be made an example of - and if the host of this fine event won't do it, I will. I did you a service, and you're asking me if it was necessary? Would you have preferred to handle this matter yourself? Or would you just let this trash continue living and disrespecting other females like he disrespected you?"

Ashara simply nods at the marshall. Males need to do more work in society anyway. We have their children, after all.

In case nobody noticed, I think in italics, without speechmarks.

A quick glance assuring her that the drunk was of no consequence, Akashiel mutters the funeral rites for commoners over the corpse, then turns to Ashara, "The host does indeed have the right to choose to dispense justice. It is polite to ask first before dispensing anything permanent, and in the case of having to dispense with the host's desires, it is right to do it outside."

"More to the point of our mission, that was inefficient and wasteful of power." Akashiel attempts to stare down the much taller woman, "Given our task, such a waste may prove fatal to us and the world."

"I would have dealt with the matter a little less dramatically. Clearly you have no concept of the word 'overkill' on your world. This man needed to learn a lesson, and he can not do that dead. Furthermore, I am assuming that like I, you came from another world yourself. Perhaps you need to realize that not everything works like it does where you come from.

You speak of justice, but in my experience, justice is relative to who is dispensing it. Did your spider-loving kin have a sense of justice when slaughtering my village, my parents? I, as much as anyone, understand the notion of taking matters into one's own hands, but here on this alien world, there may be laws and customs to deal with troublemakers like that man. You did not leave even a moment for this world's residents to react and possibly serve justice; Leave it to a Drow to act without thinking.

Seeming amused by Akashiel's attempt to stare her down, Ashara smiles.

"Wasteful? Perhaps. At the same time, there are things I will not stand for. Insulting females, which includes you, in my presence, is something I will not tolerate from a male. Make no mistake - while wasteful, I do not regret it. As for the rules of this place - I will endeavour to follow them in future."

Hearing Dez refer to her as a 'drow', Ashara's eyes light up, and her fists clench. Each word is enunciated with barely-restrained anger.

"Do not call me drow, female. Drow cast out my people centuries ago, dooming them to live beneath ground, near a deposit of deadly poison, that now floods one in three of our people with sickness. This poison flows in my veins, and has scarred my body, and will likely kill me in ten years or less. Do not dare compare me to those that took the city of Caen from us, and have been fighting against us for centuries."

Her voice then changes, becoming emotionally-charged and almost teary.

"If the spider-kin slaughtered your village, and your kin, you have my fullest sympathy, for I know what that means. House Drannar has given many to the Militia units, and have mourned many of our finest males and females, even in my short time as Matron Mother. I have practically given my life to the defence of my people; I have made sacrifices that have killed and maimed dozens, giving my health, my happiness and possibly, ultimately, my life to ensure that the spider-kin never harm another. Seeing this, this, male disrespect you and Akashiel, after everything we as females do for their society and their people.... is something more than I can tolerate. I can forgive an insult to myself alone - but by Umbra, femalekind shall never be insulted in my presence by trash like this without swift and merciless retribution!"

Tears, laced with the blue of magicite, have formed at the corners of Ashara's eyes, although she's fighting to hold them back.

"I don't expect you to understand my actions, and I seek no sympathy from you. But at least you can know this much: my sense of proportion is well within measure, although I agree that my use of resources was excessive. This filth deserved less."

As soon as the sweaty man returns, Ashara stops speaking, wiping her formative tears away, and putting on a stoic face.

"A little care for resources goes a long way, I doubt not that the fool could be taken care of with a few choice blunt impacts.",Akashiel nods, this one certainly would get along just fine with the Lady of Lunacy, with her temper. She listens to the rant with interest, as if filing tools away in an armory.

"Hmm. Forgive me, then. On Toril, there are few dark elves who do not serve the Spider Queen Lolth, doing her terrible bidding. Those who do not are a rarity, scarcer than miracles. I can see there is much I do not know about your world and your personal history, and so I apologize. Please, though, try to think more rationally in the future. Sometimes it is the subtle turn that brings down the mountain faster than any show of brute force. My mistress, Mystra, teaches that magic is an art, not a weapon. The stronger one is in its use, the less one need unleash it to be effective, as the merest threat of its use can often serve as all the deterrent a foe needs."

Ashara's expression returns to something resembling normal.

"Perhaps then, we shall tell each other of our worlds, and what we know. It will prevent future misunderstandings."

With that, Ashara begins telling the histories of Caen and Urcaen, of magicite, and of the centuries-old war. She also spoke of the Brotherhood and the Church, and what they believe in.

Basically, the stuff in my fluff? You know it all. I'll assume Dez does the same.

Magicite. If this one dies beyond returning, she will need dissection and examination, then incineration. No burial where she may taint the land.

Dez describes her homeland, the Dalelands, as well as some of the more notable locations and events of her world. She also explains her upbringing and history, and goes into some general detail about the pantheon. If she went into everything, she'd be done by the time the world had ended.
One thing I dislike about Forgotten Realms? Its history is just waaaaay too dense.

Sensing the way this was going, Akashiel produces a chain of holy symbols longer than her arm from a sleeve, and commences a complicated multifaith debate.

With herself.
It's so hard to keep such a pantheon in balance.

All this time ONE takes a backseat and watches the commotion between the three, well one female against a foolish drunk, thinking and looking at what has transpired. The little girl isn't being quiet for politeness sake, but her mind is like an automaton processing information as quickly as it could. This girl appears to be an ally, but might present herself as an enemy should push comes to shove. Someone worthy of respect then, if this world is so dangerous that a little girl has to rely on her mental faculties in such a manner.

As for the killing of a drunk, ONE frowns at the excessiveness of the execution, but he could understand the rationale of such a reaction. Many a Warforged had been excessively abused or even subjected to sensory deprivation to the point of insanity and nobody treated that as anything more than what a lab rat would deserve. If the Kommander's people had been casted out, they were at the least given due recognition as a sentient race, the Warforged didn't have it that lucky. Is there any wonder why the Lord of the Blades had such sway over a good portion of the Warforged then?

Ragnar however uncomfortable he felt with the senseless taking of life remains silently by his Lord's side, knowing that the death of a fool was in due time and should the Grand Hall explode into violence he had better stick with his Lord to protect him, not that he needed any, but it was his duty afterall.

The apprentice remained silent as his eyes quickly noted down all the details available to him. Unlike other apprentices back at the Cathedral Factory, he is given a once-in-an-existence opportunity to observe another world. He would eagerly note down every bit of information and bring it back to his friends later as part of the storytelling experience.

As for the exchange of information, ONE presents a history of the Warforged within the time of the Last War, deliberately leaving out the information of the Warforged existence in Xen'drik beyond passing mention that ancient civilizations had been using them for a long time. And after that he passes a few prepared pamphlets of information namely titled "Caring for your Warforged: They have feelings too" as an afterthought.

But the Warforged Scout moved quicker than the little man and blocked his path while Ragnar laid a hand on the sweaty shoulder.

"Stop right there abit sir." ONE replies to the little meatbag as he leans down and holds the scroll in his strong hands, turning it to take a look at what has been written.
