Q 246 Got a player who has gloves of dex +6, and a 60 (good) fly speed. He saw the capote of dragonfly wings which would give him perfect flight at 65 and repel vermin at will. Considering the price, and the fact that he's already got +6 DEX, is there anything better that could give him the same stuff? If not, how much extra would it cost to give that item +6 DEX? Would it be at 1.5 times the price?
If you use the MIC rules, it would not cost 1.5, but regular cost. If you use the old DMG rules, it would cost 1.5. Hmm. Well, both books are allowed so I guess MIC if it superseeds the old DMG rules. BTW, you said MIC rules. Whereabouts does it say it wouldn't cost 1.5 times?

Starting page 233 Thanks. This is very handy to know as my Friday DM won't let me upgrade my hair shirt of suffering short of paying 1.5 times the price because it's not an amulet. It's already got a +1 natural armor bonus. Unless, the shirt's the exception of the rule because it's only a +1.

Yup, the stat boost stuff, and a couple other things, they say in the MIC not to make cost 1.5 the normal cost, because it prevents people from getting other items to occupy those slots than the stat boosting ones.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

But if an item already has a boost (like the crown of flames for the phoenix regalia gives +cha), then you can just upgrade it without up-pricing

Q 247 Is there a way to get around a half iron golem's rust vulnerability?
Q 248 Are there any deities that have the kukri as their favored weapon (for Black Flame Zealot)?

Q250 Is there a way to make the Beholder/Polymorph any Object trick truly permanent (as in, it can't be dispelled, or a template forces to be my race/etc.) Also, if I cast Polymorph any object a few thousand times, each time turning into a Beholder, would the Permanency of the previous castings remain or would the other spells disappear?

Ur priest + extra slot. Allow me to rephrase: Is there any way as a sorcerer or wizard to get at least 2 9th level spell slots before being able to cast 9th level spells?

Is there some sort of quick guide to easy mistakes?
You know, something like "no, a +1 bonus doesn't cost 2000 gp no matter what" and "psionic augmentation is capped by manifester level".

Not really. The archetypes are religious thingies.

Q 248 Are there any deities that have the kukri as their favored weapon (for Black Flame Zealot)? Don't mean to bump this on purpose, but I've got another question to add on to this. Q 253 It says that Pixies get weapon finesse and dodge as bonus feats when you take them as characters. When? In savage species they only got dodge as a bonus feat. Do they get both of them without needing HD, or do you choose one or the other?

I believe 3.5 gave them weapon finesse as a bonus feat when the designers realized five minutes after publishing that it had a +1 bab requirement.
