Q96: What are some good Cleric spells that require concentration to maintain?
Good spells don't require concentration to maintain. Asking so as to pair something with the skill trick swift concentration. Don't clerics get Summon Elemental Monolith? Bump.

Sha'ir HandbookBinder HandbookQuote from: Negative Zero on November 04, 2009, 02:16:14 AM In my humble opinion, CO is haberdashery. Some say we're mad, but we can all agree we're hatters. Yes, we have potential to make very sophisticated hats, very fancy hats, be they dark or light. But the truth is that the color of the hat does not come from the group of us - our community doesn't directly produce hats. We simply give average head circumferences, list current fashion trends, and point out some shiny, obscure baubles to add to the latest hat line.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn." Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn." Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn." Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me." On a strange note, would anyone be put out if we had a post about people or events we can spare a thought for, or if its within their creed, a prayer for? Just a random thought, but ... hells I wouldn't have known about either Archangels daughter or Saeomons niece if I didn't happen to be on these threads.
Sounds fine to me. probably over on "Off-topic". might want to put a little disclaimer in the first post. This is the Min/Max board. We should be able to figure out a way to optimize the POWER OF PRAYER(TM) that doesn't involve "Pazuzu, Pazuzu, Pazuzu". My final project for my film independent study course. It could do with a watching and critiquing

Q97 Is there a way which requires little investment to get a Dragonborn Raptoran Large Size or Powerful Build in order to Qualify for Knockback?
Enlarge Person + Permanancy. They're still Humanoids. Enlarging before the ritual might make your increased size stick... I know that would be impossible to pass by most DMs...

Q103
I have been unable to fully understand this for quite some time. Say you have a mount with a natural attack like a boar or a wolf. Does ride by attack let it attack on a charge and continue moving? Is it the mounts charge or yours?
Option a) mounted halfling with a spear on a wolf charges a target. Wolf makes an attack as part of its charge, halfling makes readied attack, wolf carries on with the rest of his charge move
Option b) mounted halfling with a spear on a wolf charges a target. Halfling makes an attack as part of his charge, wolf carries on with the rest of the charge move.

The mind transcends the body. It's also a little cold because of that. Please get it a blanket. I wish I could read your mind, I can barely read mine. "Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. At 2:15, it begins rolling up characters."
"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~" -Ibuki Suika, on overkill

Q63: Is there any class that's easy to get into like Nightmare Spinner (Complete Mage) that gives bonus spell slots to every level you can cast spells?
A63: Ruathar (RotW). Assuming the fluff requirement isn't ludicrously enforced, you have to actively work at avoiding the requirements. I don't see anything in RoTW that would indicate bonus spell slots from Ruathar.

A 104: Not at all. It would make him weaker, if anything.

Q106 Do the orb spells bypass a tarrasque’s Carapace, allowing them to effect it fully? Since they are not rays, cones, lines, or magic missiles. Such as orb of force?

Q107) Besides Sonorous Hum is there any arcane spell that does a similar effect? I ask for I want to persist Sonorous Hum but you can't persist evocation or necromancy spells with Spelldancer (technically I can do shadow evocation, but I don't think my DM would allow that.)

Q108 Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what are the cheapest ways to add +1 max dex to heavy armor? I know about Mithril (which isn't all that cheap) and the Nimbleness enhancement, though I'd hate to burn a whole +1 on it.

Wildwood. (Races of the Wild) Unfortunately, it decreases the armor bonus by 1 as well, so you don't get much benefit.

If you can get protection from the cold blue ice(Frost p80) is very useful, Like mithral but cheaper.
