Hmm, is there any other way to increase my grenade capacity and such? I know several grenades are supposedly linkable via detcord, though I'm not sure how best to work with all this. Mini-grenade launcher might be nice. I could even build it into a prosthetic arm, and shoot grenades out of my hand, though only one per round and I assume I'd have to reload every round too.

Not sure autofire helps in this case, but I'll check it and the other suggestions out. I'll only need a grenade launcher for long range assault, though. For all else, throwing them should do nicely, and I think if I take quick draw, I should be able to throw as many as my BAB allows, no? Smile

You'd need quick draw.

Gear update

double segmented chameleonic Light combat armor (ACP of 0 is useful for hding in a corner)
PDC: 22

I assume we're using average hp rules? Also, will I need quick draw to draw/switch between my integrated gear? I assume I wouldn't need to, since its just a matter of pointing my wrist and facing people.

probably, all I need to do is enter my hp, sort out my skills (which are mostly done for me due to prerequisites and stealthiness) and choose my last feat. Again though

Q: average hp?

Q2: do I need quick draw to switch between my integrated arsenal? I imagine it wouldn't take an action because he can simply let go of the trigger on the gauss/concussion rifle and grab the triggers on the railguns, which will already be pointing forward anyways.

Q3: are mecha gonna fail a dc 13 fortitude save very often? I need to choose whether or not to bring a gauss rifle.

Q4: Do you object to any of the gear I'm bringing?

I've got my sheet done, assuming average hd (1/2 on even levels, 1/2 +1 on odds, as I understand it). I hate that, being a droid, I get no con score, and instead get 10 hp immediately, but no gain over levels, but the 31 I have should do for now.

And dude, I dont imagine that a DC 13 fort is gonna be hard for a mech to hit... no offense, and we shouldn't be fighting mechs just yet, if we've toned down. At least, not a lot of them. Hopefully.  Big Eyes

I can try to have it done by monday, though my weekend is pretty busy this week. Trying to figure out what equipment I can afford, and how I should deck myself out anyway, as well as my last feat (and possibly, feat implant- I noticed Feat plexus is PL 8 which bumps the DC up, and probably a little out of the question. Which is fine, honestly). I'm obviously going to need lots of grenades, and a variety thereof.

Stormcrow, any word on how/if I could get access to mutations in order to qualify for Evolutionary? If it's looking unlikely, I can simply find a different Advanced Class. I just think the mutations fit the Supersoldier aspect of my character, but if it's too much trouble, I'll focus solely on building it as the Demoman (demolitions man).

How do you think I broke the wealth system?
One would probably be reasonable without going over the top, if you add the other 3 feat implants over time later.
Need to buy grenades? okay here's my PIN number.

One feat plexus is not one feat, remember, and doesn't it stop you from being able to use feats from levels?

I might buy concussion/gravity grenades. Just two, you never know. Plus I can't have enough concussion items.  Tongue

I understand you're bankrolling everyone, but it's a matter of figuring out what gear I should go with. As for the feat plexus, since each implant is a separate purchase and not an add-on, maybe it wouldn't be too expensive, but it's still pushing things a bit (plus, when would we have time to stop off for a quick round of Brain Surgery? ). If I did the full 4, I might mostly use it to get PBS/Precise Shot (which are, of course, not needed for explosions, just if I want to shoot a gun), and use the other 2 slots for either Cybertaker to open up more cybernetics slots, or just a couple random things. As for feats, Fast Plus might be a good idea for me. Uncanny Dodge and Defensive Roll might be nice to have, and getting both for one feat is gravy. If Savant wasn't dependent on smart levels, using Smart Plus to boost Demolitions would've been nice, though possibly unnecessary.
Zero G Training might be a good feat to take, in case gravity fails, as one would expect from a space-heavy campaign. Hmm, would two-weapon fighting let me throw an extra grenade in a round? Would it matter, if multiple grenades can by chained together? Do I need Exotic Firearms proficiency so I can use a grenade launcher effectively? These are the questions I am asking myself. There really isn't a lot that helps an explosives-focused character in this game.

From what I'm reading, I don't see anything stopping someone with a feat implant or a feat plexus from gaining feats from levels. These are just in addition to. Just like having a cybernetic arm with a miniaturized rail gun embedded in it doesn't stop you from buying or using other weapons. Smile

Check the blurb on p. 186. "Heroic Droids with Skill Software or Feat Software." I mean, if we're just gonna buy feats anyway, that'd make fine sense, and I'm down with that. Just wanted to be sure.
