Guess that makes me the Demoman. Should I complete the persona with a scottish accent? XD
It's even more appropriate with the melee kit in the update. XD
sure, hell we could all take on the accent of the TF2 character we best represent. Hows THAT for an inside joke?

Now in chart form! Keep in mind I suck at placing accents...Which means if we DO do this I'll probably be the sniper because english accents don't really tweak my spelling or mannerisms much.
Arch: Spy (French)
Flay: Scout (American?)
Jojo: Medic? (German?)
Venn: Demoman (Scotish)
Me: Heavy (Russian?) or Sniper (English)

You do know the sniper is Australian?
How is the tech guy the spy? Shouldn't he be the engineer?
I'd probably be the spy, being the party face. I could get that item that let's me put an illusion hologram over my face so I look like someone else.

It's easy to make the mistake and think the Sniper is British, since the voice isn't portrayed as thickly Aussie as sometimes characters are. But, you can tell pretty easily from his attire, in combination with subtle cues from his speech.

The Scout is definitely from Boston, so yeah, he's American. Smile

And yeah, any sort of tech would be the Engineer (also American; South-Western, probably Texas)

oh right, forgot about the engineer. Also, I didn't know the sniper was aussie, like I said: can't tell accents appart to save my life. Anyway, the accent listing would be:

Arch: Texan
Flay: American
Jojo: French
Venn: Scotish
Me: Russian or Australian

'Course, none of this actually matters unless we're actually going through with using TF2 accents for our characters. Are we?

alroit then mates.

Side note, my australian will probably wind up as saying "mates" or "crickey" a bunch. This confirms me as a sniper, since I have no real idea how to speak with a russian accent, so australian is the only one I can have any semblance of.

I'm an american, so I will pretty much speak in a california "dude-cent" mainly. I will try and research a chicago or boston accent, to mix it up, since the california accent thing doesn't really seem to fit.

But who the hell decided the armored pre-mech biodroid was a scout?

I would say it depends on what your class make-up is, and what your function is. If you were doing melee as a Fast hero, I'd say definitely scout.  If you're going tough and/or strong, more likely equivalent to the Heavy.

Ah, see, probably should have wiki'd Team Fortress 2 before assuming scout was the dnd equivalent. Embarrassingly enough, I have NOT played that game...

Anyway, quick thing; can hero bioreplica/synthetic droids benefit from feat-webs? Cause that'd be a sick DC 19 purchase for a few extra feats...

NVM, just read that "loses all feats from class levels" addendum...

Yes, I've decided on a nicely armored melee+ranged capable scout replicant. Blade Hunter, eat your heart out.

Or Riddick.

Or both!
So far...
Bio-Replicant
Fast 2 / Strong 2 / Helix Warrior 5 / Dreadnought 8 / Helix Warrior +3
(1) Simple Weapon Proficiency
(1) Memory Implant *lvl*
(1) Fast Plus *lvl*
(1) Personal Firearms Proficiency *Occupation - Hide / Move Silently*
(2) Elusive Target/Combat Reflexes *Class*
(3) Endurance *lvl*
(4) Power Attack *Class*
(6) Tough Plus
(7) Blind-Fight/Zero-G Training
(9) Improved Damage Threshold
More as we get closer...

Whatcha'all think of that build? Here's the sheet; should I post what equipment I have so far for the wallet, just to make sure we can afford it?
Equipment -
Concussion Rifle - DC 22 Lic (+1)
Concussion Rod - DC 17
Plasma Pistol - DC 17 Lic (+2)
Silent Armor - DC 18
Projectile Deflector - DC 15 Lic (+1)
Robot Accessories -
Integrated Videophone (PL 6) - DC 14
AV Recorder (PL 5) - DC 13

History-wise:
Roy Bishop was military-proud and in the supersoldier program, and was injured in training. Made into a further experiment when his body was made into a biosynthetic droid, he is still a good soldier, based well in subterfuge and close-combat. Excellent at dodging, and equipped with a projectile deflector and concussion rifle, no guns work well on him, while he bounces foes away, easily sorting through them on his own time. He packs a plasma pistol as a side-arm, just in case full-lethal force, and a better range, is needed.

Think of him kinda like Snake... outfit and all...

Well as to the email’s as to why the basic free kit is mostly all tech level 6 well we are at 7, well Humanity has just entered tech level 7 and with humanity now united under one government and is starting colonization there is the positions spending R&D on the fallowing Ships , mechs and tanks with military thinkers believing that infantry will eventually be phased out of major combat. But they are not stopping individuals from buying there own gear and upgrading them. And side note Humanity is yet to find intelligent life in space,

As to the no mech for a while … well sooner or latter I was going to put something like the gears of war. Brumak

does this mean we're ALL getting mechs? Or are we not gonna advance far enough/boarding parties will still mostly remain as infantry?

we can still hitch it up and use as a mount after beating half to death. We'll just need to use more cheesy oneliners about the power of love, and wish I could figure out how to hyperlink things to link the defeat means friendship trope.

note they said something very simmiuler about this like guns/ cannons on fighters, and about the infentery during the vetnam eara , and gess what wrong gess what the big shots that wright up goverment buggets lisen to think tanks that could only find the head do to being attached to them not the guy doing the dirty work on the ground and with over 500 years with no major wars, someone some one forgot to tech up all areas.

well i don't want to give a way the over all plot but the T-rex like thing with the big guns mount you will fight one but weather or not you can capture one is yet to be seen.

Neural Computer Link, and a Neural Network Jack, Wireless. If needed, add satellite phone and modem, Cellular. Internet access everywhere, I can handle the DC 6 wealth checks needed.
