Well I could bail on the Mech idea since I mainly took it because we didn't have one. We could leave Flay as a Mech since he is doing melee, think of it as having a minotaur in the group , and will likely need it to compensate for lack of magic enhancements. I could convert my character to being an infantry type, likely a science geek since we don't seem to have one.

hm, if we're a boarding party then I'll axe sniping in favor of a more shock trooper approach. Weapon-wise I'll take the Tsunami (I want it renamed the Volcano though, fire damage and Tsunami feel contradictory, meh, gripe with fluff later), maybe an assault rifle of some kind (mainly because I feel kind of weird using an energy based flamethrower as a main weapon) and and integrated blade or two (possibly mini-compact Tiger claws). Worst case scenario I can still hit pretty far away with the focus beam. Also, I'll be wearing heavier armor, should I change off of fast hero if I'm using non-light armor? I'm not sure if any of their talents work in med+ armor.
Also, what background does our group have? Are we all in the same military unit or something? Are we space banditos pirates?

Sounds like a good Idea. Science geek instantly made me think of the third and fourth panel of this.Hopefully the fifth panel won't apply. Char is part done, but the insane wealth thing is actually slowing me down a lot. I can have a gun with an under-slung gun. Then I can put an under-slung gun on the under-slung gun. Then I can put an under-slung gun on the under-slung gun. Ect. Ect. Made me think of this.

That...is an extended Magnum with a scope and a grenade launcher... Followup question, would we all already know each other? What rank do we hold in the military? Are any/all of us new recruits?

Dumb, Rich AND our leader? We're boned, aren't we? And as always, I review what our group is, because I feel the need for every post to be in some way productive Archangel: cyborg techno junkie Flay: The Juggernaut, Bitch! Jojo: leader, wallet and iconic BigStupidFighter tmVenn: mutant with some melee? Me: ranged gunner (you might want to be careful on the frontlines, I might get trigger happy with my wave motion wide angle firing mode

My main issue is that I have work this week early in the mornings, and tomorrow night I have play rehearsals. I probably won't get to work on my character until late tomorrow night, or even the night after. This is the only week like this so far, though.

I'll be AFK for a bit under 48 hours starting 12 hours from now. I will not be able to work on my character for that time, so your not alone.

I have an odd job tomorrow at 10:30 pm PST, so I will probably have limited time tonight and tomorrow morning to work on it. I will probably work on it mostly mornings over the next few days. How fast do you need them made?

Ok Stormcrow i'm basically looking for a blackhole type gun, Blackholes will be a theme within my character, the closes I found was the singularity gun FT23 but the problem is it is a 1 shot weapon and PL8 (still trying to keep it to PL7 as per your request). Is there anyway I can get a modified version of this gun or is there another gun that is similar that is in another book that may work, I'm fine with going with the solution the mecha version uses of it having a 1 round recharge between shots sinice it is a powerful gun.

Nevermind working on the blackhole gun. It is just too much extra work to get done. I'll just stick with my laser rifle & pistol. I'll have some wicked sick high skills in a few areas that i think will be important as well. I also got hide and move silently as class skills through occupation so i'll be maxing those out as well, i'm a geek and need to not get hit

Real quick, what exactly is the limit to how much I can have spent on my gear (since I doubt I'm allowed to have everything I want despite jojo's money)? Also, would it be in poor taste to take dreadnought levels later on so I can dual wield Tsunami's ?
