I say circle to keep moving forward and not double back unless we have too. But if someone feels strongly to doubling back the way we came, I won't fuss over it.

Circling back, past the gruesome scene, the other side of the tunnel is much the same. The door to the alcoves is even in the same place.

OOC: Proceeding further down the corridor to the intersection, the scenery doesn't exactly change. The corridor ends going further south, though the torch fails to illuminate past the bend, while to the east, the passage continues past the range of the torch and darkvision, as well as turning off to the north. Still no doors in sight, and the passage is eerily quiet.
