I say circle to keep moving forward and not double back unless we have too. But if someone feels strongly to doubling back the way we came, I won't fuss over it.

"Finally we're going to the right!  Just like I said we should."

Thymm tries to shove the door open with the butt of his guisarme, at least 5 feet away from it.

Amelia draws her weapon and cautiously follows.

Circling back, past the gruesome scene, the other side of the tunnel is much the same. The door to the alcoves is even in the same place.

OOC:
So the left and right tunnels just made a loop to each other correct? I assume they went back toward the entrance and over the hallway we walked through just before the stair?
Well I guess there is only one way to go.

The hallways turn away from the original corridor, not towards it.

"They really made this place confusing," remarks an annoyed Thymm.  He again uses the butt of his guisarme to shove the doors open if they open inward or the hooked end to pull them if they open outward.

OOC:
Assume that he's always opening doors 5' away by hooking the handles if he can or pushing them open with the butt of his polearm.  The picture in the PHB makes it look like he could hook doors with the curved blade.

THAT WON'T SAVE YOU!!!!

They open into the alcoves, but there is no traps there, I promise. Continue further into the dungeon, if you would. Plotting

After opening the doors Thymm leads the group through the doors and to what lay beyond.

OOC:
You've already been here. The doors lead back to the first tunnel. Both sets. Every other door in the dungeon barring 1 is still in 'fog of war', as it were. And even that door only Dagnar, with his 90' darkvision, has seen.

Looks like there is only one place left to go. Head for the doors at the end of the hall to the south.

OOC:
The only doors I can see that you've discovered that are south of you are the ones you came in. I'm shunting you down the corridor that, as far as I can tell, you were just exploring.

I'll also update the map, as well as move it far enough down to fit this level. No promises about sideways, however.

Proceeding further down the corridor to the intersection, the scenery doesn't exactly change. The corridor ends going further south, though the torch fails to illuminate past the bend, while to the east, the passage continues past the range of the torch and darkvision, as well as turning off to the north. Still no doors in sight, and the passage is eerily quiet.

ok well lets try this. If i'm understanding it correctly we are currently in the "arm" on the right. Lets go explore th area currently at AA22 and AA23 so we can eliminate that quickly and then proceed to hall way at X28 and X29

Yes, I like your plan archangel.arcanis.  Thymm agrees if the idea is pitched.
