I left a while ago.  Forgot why.

Got back into D&D recently.  Didn't really have a good reason to.

Don't know if I'll actually play here, but hopefully the presence of brain cells will give me ideas for games regardless.

...this place still has brain cells, right?

Theoretically yes.

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

You see those insane white lab rats gibbering menacingly from the shadows occasionally muttering imprecations of dire import for humanity?  Them's the local geniuses.  I highly recommend bringing food bribes if you wish to deal with them.

Hey! This is Tshern. This is the second time I have not had a single D&D for a year during the last three years...

You (both) disappeared sometime after the 4e thud. But it's a lot of goodies - maybe too much - for levels 2 through 6.

Yeah, I've actually been keeping up with 4e for a couple VTT campaigns (which both sadly fell apart) and then made an ill-fated trek into PbP gaming, of which I managed to meet 2 lousy DMs and a bunch of others that didn't stick around long enough for me to make a judgement.

My memory of 3.5e and 4e is fresh, so I can jump in and play if someone has a game open.  That said, I'm not dying to play either system right now.

I bleached those suckers from my system a long time ago. They were hampering my suicidal ways.

You expect me to believe you have the pain tolerance to use bleach?  Admit it, it was vodka.  Rolls Eyes

I have 3 brain cells actually: one for being fascinated by platypi, one for adding garlic and the third one is a spare part.
