I can't edit the posts of those who dropped out, so they'll just have to leave their public sheets in the thread. However, I can update the list. I see where you get the 9 players from, the two "in the works" people never got their characters ready - as two of many like that.
We have the following players, in rough order of joining: Snizor Omen Sohala Thistle McPoyo raith0 mthor
That's enough for two parties, IMHO, after this desert chapter. We just have to divide them right, which is part of the reason why you guys should talk to each other and find out what makes your respective characters tick - at least publicly.

BP, I have no clue in which round those actions took place... You choose. Are the PCs up again after Doyle gets telekinesied?
(...Master of the Unseen Hand, huh? Hope it's not a ghost.)

Ok, if you have no more of a clue than me... let's say you finish in round 6, and the telekinetic attacks also happen in round 6. The PCs can act again in round 7. I'll have to make that clearer. Oh, and... wait and see just what is coming . Which reminds me: Thistle, even though you don't like that char anymore, could you finish the scene with him?

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

No, he's about growth and rebirth and stuff, which is why he also didn't vacate Devanar. But of course Isul doesn't know that, and the thought had occurred to Devanar himself, too...

Although, there is that heretic branch of lathander's faith that says he's just another aspect of Amaunator, who IS like the burning hate....hmm. I may needto steal this idea for a game now.

Who is the fur ball talking to? CRAP, I totally didn't see your spoiler. Damn. That means.... ok, I have to redo some things! Kitty is talking to everyone within 70 feet of him. And dammit, my reading is going to hell, I honestly read "full bar" on that one on the first reading. What the fuck?

Hah, I also thought the fur ball was the beguiler. I also wondered who Cat was addressing but I decided that he wouldn't hoard this kind of information. As for the illusion: BP, you definitely have some leeway. Depending on their intelligence and on how you see things working perhaps they don't need LoS to sustain Telekinesis, and if they sense they can maintain it perhaps the wall doesn't block LoE and that could give them a save... ? ?

I read "full bar" again. Maybe I should have my brain checked... Well... I believe Telekinesis does need LoS, at least to do "new" effects. The thing about illusions is that they need to either have an indication that it's an illusion, or they have to study it carefully and interact with it. Which they can't do from far away.

That's what I was hoping for, but I wanted to be open-minded about it. Mael is not especially smart but he has cunning.

Marc is retiring... not sure the best way to deal with that IC...
I have an idea for that, which should work out fine. Holdamir (or was it the other one?) returns with info from Baztgirn (Torgthen's town)... it's under attack. But he also told the council his tale of finding the construct, and the dwarves know of another site, which might be similar to the one the MARC came from, which is quite close by. So the MARC flies off to Baztgirn to find more information about his origins, and promises to help the town against the attackers in exchange. And to stop Torgthen from rushing home: The town's authorities have specifically requested he look for the source of the problem, rather than help with the symptoms. They can hold out. Work out for everyone? We can do it IC in another bit of campfire talk, unfortunately to take place after this fight, or else the Hound won't be back. Now the other question is whether you want to immediately head for the demon camp, or whether you will stick around to lick your wounds a bit longer. So you'll just have to play the MARC until he leaves, which could be soon - or I can NPC him if you're really that sick of him.
