The Blazing Forge planar touchstone halves the cost needed for crafting masterwork items (will be adding this to my handbook soon).
Is that half the total cost, half the non-magical cost, or half the cost of masterwork? It literally says "your cost for creating masterwork items is halved." I guess that can be read as the added masterwork cost being halved, but I think you can also interpret it as the total cost of any masterwork item you create being halved... Any English majors wanna chime in?

I read it as "If you are a slave who can produce masterwork items, people pay half the usual prize for you".

Agita, would you care to explain the reasoning? He read "your cost" as "how much it costs to buy/pay (for) you", not "the price you have to pay" if I understand correctly. [/that's the joke]

Given how that sentence is structured, I'm not sure how you could read that definition of 'your cost' out of it, given that it's followed by 'for creating masterwork items'.

By feeling whimsical and in the mood for silly jokes, that's how. How about this reading: "You're only allowed to charge half as much as others do for creating MW items."

Fair enough, Agita. I guess writing my research essay on Japanese politics has deactivated the humour centres in my brain.

Oh, politics can be fun - I wouldn't be shooting for a Masters in it if it wasn't - it's just that this particular topic is mind-numbingly stupid and annoying, and the fact that I have to redraft it isn't helping one bit.

Yes they do, although they won't necessarily have a school you can identify via Spellcraft. HD of the creature using the ability is the caster level unless otherwise specified.

Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea. If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit. See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere.

Bump Q 233 If a paladin is constantly facing off against neutral creatures, especially chaotic ones, how does he make use of his Smite Evil? Or is there a substitute that they can use? Be preferable if they aren't LG.
And the character's already 6th level.

Q 247 When considering favored enemies, what do Lesser Aasimar and Tieflings count as?
Should be Outsider (Native). Depends. PGtF count as humanoids, level0 savage count as outsider(native).

I understand the humanoid part, but humanoid what? Like you have humanoid (human), humanoid (elf), humanoid (orc), etc. What's a tiefling and aasimar?

Humanoid (extraplanar)? Closest I can think of, even if they aren't actually extraplanar.
