Q 223: I remember reading somewhere about a weapon enchantment you can have put in your weapon that allows a one handed weapon to be considered light if wielded in the off hand.  Can anyone remember what it is called and where it is found?
I could be wrong, but I think it is Hornblade, from Races of Faerun.
Well, the Hornblade does work that way, although only for gnomes and halflings, Thanks.  Anyone else think of any enhancements that aren't raicially restricted?

Maybe Feycraft (dmg2) would help?  Not an enchantment, thought

Eh, the wizard have more money than them combined, he could in theory just use all his money on a fleet of trained attack mules, but then we aren't playing 3.5 but zergling rushing in Starcraft instead.

Bumping

Q 212 How easy is it to add Fast Healing to a monster? I'm used to the 3.5 scarecrow construct that's only a CR 1, but the 4th edition version that we took on tonight at a convention was way more powerful, and has an ability called "Restuff" where it basically takes debris and heals itself or a fellow scarecrow.

Pretty easy. Just add it to the monster, and say "Done!". Maybe increase the CR a step if it's worth it.

Without that, it depends on the creature type, but there are several templates to do it. Sounds like the scarecrow ability you mentioned would be more like a lay-on-hands type deal in 3.x.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.

It's definitely faster than that though. Unless I'm reading Lay on Hands wrong and it's actually a swift ability, because that's what their ability is.

If you have battlemagic perception on and you attempt to counter a spell you still need to have either the spell, improved counterspell, or dispel magic, etc...right?

It doesn't just allow you to counter it without having a proper counterspell method? The wording is a bit confusing...

Remember in 4e, a lot more things are swift actions.

You can't really compare 4e and 3.5. Almost all healing abilities in 4e are minor actions (what swift actions are called in 4e) - the Leader classes get minor action heals as class features.

Q224 What would happen if one were to plane shift Atropus (from Elder Evils) to the positive energy plane, as it describes it's wish to absorb positive energy?

Don't elder evils block planar travel?

I thought it might kill it, spawn a new plane, make a little positive energy plane native moon as the negative energy of the moon cancels out the positive energy of the plane allowing for a 'normal' existence, cause the destruction of part of the positive energy plane, etc.

Q 227 I more of less need you guys to humour me on this because it's an idea I'm considering, and I saw a one-shot 3.5 game at a convention do this. If you have a PC the wealth of a 20th level PC, but NOT the level of one, what would their approximate ECL be?

To give you an example of what was happening, there were 150 1st level PCs with +10 weapons, armour, and wondrous items that cost no less than 50k, and they were put into an EL 20 castle to take down a lvl 20 wizard overlord.

A228:
Benefit: Add +2 points per spell level to the amount of damage healed by any Conjuration [Healing] spell that you cast.
When you cast Vigor spells, target immediately heals 2 hp per spell level and gains fast healing as usual for the vigor spells.
