Yeah, you pretty much have to sneak in with something that dual progresses, so you pick up the ability without needing chameleon to qualify for it.

Q210  I need some suggestions for a magic item.  My character is able to choose a magic item worth up to 2500g, possibly as high as 3000g. 

I'm level 4 currently, Marshall 3/Barbarian 1 (Whirling Frenzy, Spirit Lion variants) going into Crusader for the rest of the game.  Feats are Able Learner, Power Attack, Improved Bull Rush, Improved Initiative, Knowledge Devotion.  I will be doing a charger build but will probably pick up an Artificer cohort with Leadership at 6th or 9th level to help gear me and the party.  My items currently are Elven Chain +1, Valorous Adamantine Greatsword +1, and Anklet of Translocation.  So far I have considered Healing Belt, though HP damage isn't an issue so far, and Rod of Bodily Renewal/Orb of Mental Renewal since ability damage/drain has happened a few times.

A210 If you're a marshal, there's a few items that are specific to that class.
Rearguard's Cape for 2000
Standard of Valor for 1400
Helm of Tactics for 2000

Barbarians have specific items too.
Devastation Gauntlets for 2000
Bands of Blood Rage for 2600

All of these are from the MIC.

Q211: I've got a level 2 Azurin Incarnate (law) that I'm making for a game. What would good starting feats be? I'm pretty sure Expanded Soulmeld Capacity should be one, what about the other? (stats are STR 16, DEX 12, CON 16, INT 10, WIS 10, CHA 8)

No I don't. That's what they're called, including "Band of Blood Rage" on page 202. I even looked them all up again via the PDF search ability and found them all.

Q 212 How easy is it to add Fast Healing to a monster? I'm used to the 3.5 scarecrow construct that's only a CR 1, but the 4th edition version that we took on tonight at a convention was way more powerful, and has an ability called "Restuff" where it basically takes debris and heals itself or a fellow scarecrow.

Q-156a: Can a character with the wandstrike feat, CompArca - spend 1 charge to make melee attack with a wand and 1 charge to autohit target with wand spell effect, and the Duskblade Arcane Channeling class feature, PhB2 - channel touch spell to melee weapon discharging on hit, make an attack using the class ability to channel a (ex. CL 3 shocking grasp) spell into a held wand (since it is now a melee weapon through the feat) by spending the charges needed to make the strike and to target the opponent with the spell (say - a CL 5 shocking grasp wand)?

Both arcane channeling and wandstrike are their own standard actions, not modifications to the attack action.  You cannot use both abilities with a single standard action. 

The channel spell ability of an ordained champion works differently.  In that case, you use a move action to put a spell in your weapon such that it effects the next creature you strike.  That ability may be more like what you're looking for.

Q214: If a creature has poison damage on its bite attack, but not on his claw attacks. Does venomfire add damage to those claw attacks too? And does it only do damage when the target fails his save for the poison?

Correct. It's more or less the ability used to make Pun Pun, except in spell form. I highly doubt you'd get it past a DM, but if you do, it'll be glorious.

Used well, it can get you CHA to EVERYTHING!

No, I didn't. Helm of Tactics is legit for 2000. Page 208. Helm of Battle is also 2000 gold yes and NOT a marshal specific item. Helm of Heroes is though, but it's 5600.

When you activate a helm of tactics, you and all allies within 60 feet gain a +2 bonus on melee weapon damage rolls against enemies that you or they are fl anking. This benefi t lasts for 10 rounds, but allies who move more than 60 feet from you lose the benefi t until they return within the area.
If you are a marshal, you can activate a helm of tactics to increase the effect of your minor aura by 1. This effect lasts for 10 rounds.
A helm of tactics functions three times per day.


Like I said, I double checked everything after you called me mis-wording stuff the first time.

Most people have this horrible tendency to completely forget about that chapter of the MIC with sets, I've noticed.

Not that I know of but you could just pick it up from a magical location from Complete Scoundrel.

Why does truenamer only have 6 class skills when its primary stat is Int and it has 4+Int skills? Admittedly Knowledge(All Skills) isn't one skill but still, did they intend for you to know about 10 languages or have max ranks in every knowledge skill?
