I always liked the idea of a sneak attack delivered by unarmed strike with Stunning Fist and Hamstring applied as a kick below the belt. It's not that hard to fake a called shot if you really want to, just tell 'em to do their damn research.

Q 187 Are there called shots in D&D? As in a called shot to the head, a called shot to the heart, etc. If so, where are the rules, and what exactly can it do for you? A187in previous versions ... yes, in 3.5 No, unless you use the Ambush Feats in Complete scoundrel Thanks. Had a player and her boyfriend calling bullshit on me because they're so used to 3.0 and never wanted to come to the 3.5 side of things, and now they likely going to hate this system even more. 3.0 didn't have called shots either (or at least no different from what 3.5 has). One could argue that Power Attack is a called shot - you take a negative to hit so that you 'target an area more susceptible to damage'... if you want to think of it that way. But with the ambush feats, 3.5 actually has more called shot possibilities than 3.0

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Q186 Best non-Template Race for a Shadowcaster? and non-human. Meaning Cha is the Focus Stat, Int needs to be 19, and the rest follows suit as a spell caster.
Lesser Cansin (Dragon 297). Get a +2 int and cha, acid and fire resistance, plus entropic shield as a SLA.

Q 188 What classes would be best, other than: ranger 20, rogue 10/assassin 10, and fighter 20, for the title of "best hunter" (the title is loosely given for all types of hunters)? I'm thinking of doing a one-shot with these, and need six. Races would be appreciated as well.

Psion (Seer) 20, Wizard 20... At level 20, you're not tracking orcs in the woods. You're chasing demons across the planes.

As well as Factotum. I know every skill is their class skill, but them being the best hunter? Or is it because that they're so universal? And I thought druids weren't much the hunters as they were the ones who stopped the hunters. Or this one of those hunters who hunt the hunters?

Countdown to Zombie Apocalypse 97 When you see this, copy it into your sig and -1 Quotes In other words, he thinks there's a "correct" way to play D&D. *sigh* There is: Kill shit and loot the corpse! When you use a tool the way it was designed for -- its intended function -- then it will work very well for you.
But it's not the tool's fault if you use it for something else and you fail utterly, such as trying to eat cereal with a butterknife, pounding nails with a screwdriver, blogging to voice your political opinions, and brushing your teeth with a hammer.

Well, usually if you're shooting, you want to hit someone... But pretty much. It's also a prerequisite for Improved Precise Shot. A189: Same slots that you have, although animals lacking limbs lack similar body slots (snakes have no ring, hand, or arm slots, for example)

I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle. The book doesn't even exist! Quotes: By yes, she means no.
That explains so much about my life. hiicantcomeupwithacharacterthatisntaghostwhyisthatamijustretardedorsomething
Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea. If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit. See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere.
