Q139: What is the most optimal type of half dragon? Half concordant dragon could be fun for its "ray of antiethical energy" that explodes people with extreme alignments...

Q 138:Is there an enhancement that can be added to a melee weapon that allows it to be thrown? Thanks. yup, it's called "throwing", and can be found in the DMG.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Personally, I'm a fan of Pyroclastic Dragons. They get their choice of two immunities (one of an extremely common energy type, one of a rarely resisted type) and their breath weapon deals 2 kinds of energy damage. This is important for things like the Dragonblood Substitution levels for Cleric, as they can pick one energy type for immunity and pick the other for Turn Energy and Absorb Energy. There are numerous other ways this can be used. And they look badass.

I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle. The book doesn't even exist! Quotes: By yes, she means no.
That explains so much about my life. hiicantcomeupwithacharacterthatisntaghostwhyisthatamijustretardedorsomething
Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea. If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit. See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere.

Q68: Could someone please explain to my DM how exactly Wings of Flurry works as reg. Targeting people, it's being an area spell, a targeted spell, and does it affect allies in the area?
Bump. Also, Q77: Assuming a PC is blinded by a Powerword:Blind, does casting Greater Arcane Sight work while he's blinded, or does he need to see things normally? ... Q79: Does a Spellguard Ring allow you to let yourself benefit from allies' spells, by letting them ignore a protection that blocks them? Ex: Can you use a Spellguard Ring to let your party's Bard cast Heroism and/or Snowsong on you, despite them being [Mind-Affecting] and you having Mindblank/Plant Body. In essence, can they "be immune to the effects" of your protection spell? Bump all of the above. Greater Arcane Sight was banned, but I'd still like to know.

A139: Only with UMD. Any Arcane Caster can use it, which means it doesn't care about whether the spell is on your class spell list, only if you're an Arcane Caster. If not, Use Magic Device FTW!

Q 139 Can a divine caster use an eternal wand?
Actually it depends on which version, the Eberron version is a spell trigger item but the MIC version is a command word item so a divine caster could use it just fine. Edit: Nevermind it does have an arcane only restriction.

I don't think these are simple questions. I don't think Arcane Sight would work, as it is just an enhancement to your own senses, not a replacment like Blindsight/Touchsight/Tremorsense/etc. IIRC, Wings of Flurry was worded in a contradictory fashion, and the author's intent is hard to discern with 100% certainty. I think most people treat it like Horrid Wilting in how it targets creatures. As for the rings... yeah, I think that might work. IIRC, it says they can ignore the effects of a spell you cast, right? Not that they're immune to it?

There is a time dragon in dragon magazine. Its breath weapon removes the target from the time stream for 1 round per age category, so I guess for 1 round as a half dragon. I think it has immunity to aging, I need to look it up. It would be humerous, but not all that powerful. There is also a mind flayer dragon that gets the mind flayer's mind blast. A half-dragon version would be cool if it qualified you for the Illithiad savant PrC.
