Q17 Whats the new hotness in auto-generating character sheets?
I have a little disability called Dysgraphia, which other than make my whole arm ache with pain after 3 minutes of holding a writing utensile, also makes my handwriting fucking atrocious. I can barely read it myself(sometimes I can't).
I've looked into Hero lab and PCGen and all that shit(PcGen would be great if you could get the datasheets or what ever).
I think Im going to just try a simple auto calculating4 fillable PDF or something. Whats everyones favorites?(I used to get them from RPGsheets.com but they seem to have removed all their stuff?).

If you can still type normally, maybe try Myth-Weavers with maybe a Word-file for additional details that don't fit on the standard MW-sheet?

I can type fine, I have been typing since the 3rd grade due to it. /flex 135 WPM /flex lol:( I will look into that, I have done notepadstyle character sheets before without much issue. I always seem to forget shit when I do that though. Normal sheets are kind of like a guide for me! Looking on this website, looks great! Thank you:D

Q15: Is there a ruling somewhere that states you cannot use metamagic reducers on variable adjustment metamagics such as Heighten Spell? I'm fairly sure there isn't...
I believe either heighten spell says it, or the reducers themselves do.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Revising the question because I'm think you guys thought I answered it with my own edit. Q 18 If an NPC 15th lvl wizard has WAY more spells than what's on the class progression, it says that it's 50 gold x level. Then it says +100 gold for materials so you can even write in the book? Is that 100 for each spell?? Making it 50 x lvl + 100? So if a wizard with 17 INT for 7 levels and then INT 18 at 8th lvl, how many spells should he have memorizes normally? If he has 24-1st, 9-2nd, 8-3rd, 8-4th, 5-5th, 5-6th, 5-7th, 2-8th, how much gold has this wizard spent?

I'm not familiar with that feat, but two levels of geometer lets you compress any spell to one page.

Thank you:D I've also occasionally used Mad Irishman's character form. It's a little out of date, but I use a slightly edited version of his sheet for my usual hand written ones, so it's convenient for me. You need Acrobat full to save, though. There's also the SSA-X (or something similar) character sheet, which is a very extensive one. I find it to be too much sturm and drang, especially since I like to customize things w/ little notes to myself (another reason I like the somewhat minimalist Mad Irishman form approach), but it's around.

Q 19 Just came across an interesting dilemma in our campaign. The river Styx. There's a dragon horde at the bottom of the river, but if you jump in and don't successfully get make a Will save of 35 every round, you'll completely lose your memory. Even the heal spell won't help after that. How do you suggest getting it?
Party is warblade saint, ranger/fighter/pious templar, sorcerer/paladin/force missile mage, swordsage/dragon adept/fighter/barbarian/psychic rogue.
Or are we not getting it?

Mage Hand should slowly but surely be able to move the treasure out of the water, or at least the lighter parts of it. Telekinesis should work even better, having longer range and a higher weight limit, letting you reach the deeper parts of the river and carry the heavier items. You might be able to summon something that won't be affected by the memory loss (such as a mindless construct) and have it retrieve the goods for you. An Unseen Servant could scoop the treasure into a net or similar for you to pull out, since it's doubtful that the servant can swim well with any significant weight.

Are you able to just build something? That Aparatus thing from DMG would totally get the job done, or you could build something like it using extradimensional space and some creativity. JaronK

Fishing poles and sovereign glue.
Seriously, you're an adventuring party. You have to have a 10' pole, some soverign glue, and rope.

I'm pretty sure there isn't one. In fact, don't SCM builds sometimes use cost reducers on their Shadow Illusions? In some cases, there is, e.g., Arcane Thesis, PHB2: When you apply a metamagic feat other than Heighten Spell...

Seriously, you're an adventuring party. You have to have a 10' pole, some soverign glue, and rope. Probably, but you'd need more than that for gathering a dragon horde that you'd have to find. Q 20 I know this ability exists, but I'm questioning on whether it's a feat or not. And it's not homebrew. How can a wizard write out a spell in a book, but only use half the space (ie a 0th and 1st level spell only use 1/2 a page, and a 9th only uses 4.5 pages)? It does exist. I've seen people in the past who play wizards do it, and brag about their finding. I just don't know how exactly. I thought it was a feat, but maybe it's an item? I'm hoping someone here can answer it.
