The cost of the scroll you copy from.
So trading spells is completely free?

So trading spells is completely free? In this particular case, it would be if you could convince an NPC to swap with you, one for one.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Q98 Any way to add a spell to a casting list prior to level 4? In particular, Protection from Good? Preferably any list, but I'd prefer adding it to arcane (Dread Necro, for instance) without using Alternate Source Spell or Gatekeeper Initiate. Arcane Disciple adds it as an arcane spell, and I would need it as a divine one...
Barring that, any way to add it to a divine casting list that doesn't normally have it?

If your DM sees reason, Extra Spell might just work at 3rd. If not, Celestial Sorcerer Heritage adds Protection from Evil, which might be enough... A Knowstone, maybe? If you can get 7K, you can easily do it with a Drake Helm, at least for Arcane.

Q 90 Can I use Lion of Talisid to give a Wildshape Ranger "Wildshape (Large)". or does the "stacks with druid level for level of wildshape" text override that and just stack LoT level -2 with WsR level, negating the Wildshape (large) and Wildshape (tiny) from LoT?
Lion of Talisid gains Wildshape (large) at lvl 6, regardless of how you qualify for that class. That's written both in text and table. As for the second part of lion's wildshape ability (see spoiler below), it's pretty much your DM's call, if he allows to replace "druid" with "ranger" in the paragraph to gain plant shape etc. RAW, a lion does not gain it.

A99: It has a couple of prerequisites, but Martial Study (Wall of Blades) can let you parry 1/encounter (more if you're a martial adept).

Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea. If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit. See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere.

there's also a couple feats in dragon somewhere that do similar things, but I cannot remember their names or issues.

Hood - My first answer to all your build questions; past, present, and future. Speaking of which: Don't even need TO for this. Any decent Hood build, especially one with Celerity, one-rounds [Azathoth, the most powerful greater deity from d20 Cthulu]. Does it bug anyone else that we've reached the point where characters who can obliterate a greater deity in one round are considered "decent?"

Q101
IF I use Mythic Exemplar (Reikhardt) to advance Outcast Champion, just what am I getting? Only the Will Save bonus? That + the Aid Another bonus? Or do I get Desperate Fury (allies) too?

A102: No. Complete Mage specifiess that having spells that don't gain a descriptor until cast (such as Summon Monster) cannot fuel a Reserve feat. You could, however, use it to fuel Summon Elemental.

Q 103: What ways are there to reduce the reload time of a crossbow? Rapid Reload's always a good one. Q 104 What possible way is there to give a character an alternate form, much like Bruce Banner's Hulk form, Dr Jekyl/Mr Hyde, Dante and his Devil Trigger? Without being a wizard or druid (ie wild shape or polymorph).

Lycanthropes might be work is you could make a demon form, but alter self and wildshape ranger do the same thing as the wizard's polymorph and druid. I'm looking for something more universal.

shapechange? I was thinking more like a template or something. I guess a permanency spell with a contingency would work. Like in order to become the Hulk you need to get mad. So whenever you raged you'd have that happen. I don't know. Maybe I'm asking something too difficult.
