On the way to your treasure, you realize you've been being followed by the minotaur that lives there! Fuck! He's got an axe that's bigger than any of you, and he looks pissed! Grizz launches a large rock at the minotaur and then moves to block the beast from charging his allies. He moves to square I12.
1d20(18)+9=27
3d6(6,4,5)+1=16 bludgeoning damage
Still within his threatened range, but at least he can't charge, and he shouldn't get an AoO on me at that range since I'm not leaving any of his threatened squares.

I'll include a new map with the tangle patch so it's easier for everyone to see the AoO. Obviously the area doesn't go through the walls, but you get the idea. Map:Reflex saves:Minotaur -> d20 + 5 = 14 Grizz -> d20 + 4 = 10 Grizz is entangled! (while is minotaur are free, he still moves at half speed. Grizz will either need to spend a full round trying to break out or stay in place and be entangled) Aepa! You're up! |
