When the three wererat enter the shop Krisrath was seated behind the main counter going over the shop’s finances. He has assumed the form of a more striking individual with richer cloths on. Maglynn is in the same room but is busy directing the activities of two of the followers; she now wears a plain brown dress of light fabric.

“Evening gentlemen, we were just closing up the shop for the day,” Krisrath gestures at Maglynn supervising, his two followers sweeping the floor and putting merchandise away, “But for you, we might be able to make an exception for. Was there anything in particular you were looking for?” He looks towards the talker, who he has assumed is the leader. Then proceeds  to discuss what he might be able to offer the group.

Meanwhile, Maglynn hasn’t been idle. With the distraction Krisrath was providing she attempts to bend the will of the lesser wererats.

47 bluff check to keep them distracted, unless you perfer I actually befriend them. (In which case it is a 41 diplomacy check)

Maglynn is using a psionic charm (Will DC 16) against each of the wererats that have not spoken.

For the most part I think I am going to skip mentioning mental conversation between Krisrath and Maglynn, it is just going to happen.

Frought between the fact that he had things to do, and the fact that 46 gold is still a goodly amount of money, he decides that this irritating distraction is definitely the priority. Bolting down the alleyway, he places one hand on the clasp of his cloak, and the other on the hilt of his blade. His armor was up, as it always was, but still he felt like he was being led somewhere...

Nods to Janus, "Off we are then.  Let's stop by the Griffon's Rest on the way out and grab a bit of their bread for the walk.  Their's is the best", he says with a warm grin.

OOC:  Unless something comes up we head towards the port making a quick stop at the Griffon's Rest and push on.  Besides the bread just being very good it also gives him the chance to discretely let his family know he is going away as it is their inn.

Seeing Glim sauntering out of the room Shade calls out to him with a hopeful look, "Hey Glim!!, the others seem otherwise occupied.  How about joining Janus and I for the trip out?  If you haven't had bread from the Griffon's Rest you'll be in for a treat."

Occ sorry about the delay work gets in the way and sorry for no images they are not showing up

IC  group 1 Note that the distance is only a half a day between the two cities
As Warden Suzuki Toshi down the ally way he sees that the ally way is empty a side form some garbage containers 10 feet away in front of and a hole in the ground 5 feet from where he stands to his right the ally continues with the first set of possible turns being 30 feet away.

Group 2
The lead rat looks at Krisrath like a hungry wolf saying as he takes a few steps forwards saying “I think you understand, why I am here I am going to make you a deal you pay the Brotherhood of the Horned Rat 20 gold a mouth and nothing is going to happen if you don’t pay we will have to make an example out of you.” Unknowingly to the leader his two followers are under Maglynns psionic charm.

The lesser wererats' will folded like paper, and then Maglynn gave a sneer.

With that, a small smile formed on Krisrath's face. He shifted his posture ever so slightly and then spoke, "Your offer is very interesting, but I have counter offer for you..." With a minor flick of the wrist he launched a strand of shadow stuff at the leader.

Following his lead, Maglynn fired a blue ray.

I figured a suprise round was in order. Initiative incase he lives, Maglynn 1d20+3=11, Krisrath 1d20+3=18.
Assume Assassin's Stance.
Shadow Garrote, Ranged Touch Attack, 1d20+7=23, 5d6=15, Sneak Attack Damage, 5d6=10.
Energy Ray, Ranged Touch Attack 1d20+4=12, Cold Damage 4d6+4=23. (Added the +4, forgot about the added damage)

Thinking how ridiculously obvious it was, Toshi slides to a halt and crouches near the hole, listening. He could always sprint down the alleyway more, but it would be problematic to have to backtrack and check the hole.

Listen to notice if there is sounds of someone moving/running
Listen: 1 Fuuuuuuuuuck.
If none, will progress with running down the alley, taking turns widely, as opposed to sharply and close to the curve.

....... is any of my group following me?

Walking down the street with his companions Shade notices Toshi's reaction as notices the Pick Pocket and then sees the thief flee down the alley.

Spot with -5 distracted penalty to notice the pick pocket and get a decent look at him
1d20+13-5=26

If he gets a good enough look he will cast Locate Creature and follow Toshi into the alley.

is there any sound of the thief running down the alleys or down the hole?

Aullara decides to turn the tables on the would-be thief, who thought he'd caught Lloyd alone. She shoots off a sneaky, mortalbane eldritch blast. She then whispers to Lloyd, "Watch out for the trip wires in front of you."

Surprise round? Sneak Attack due to invisibility:
1d20(7)+14=21 vs. touch AC minus dex bonus

65d6(6,1,5,6,6,3)=2724

Initiative, if the ambusher's still up:
1d20(5)+7=12

"Now boys, is that anyway to treat the people trying to help you?" Maglynn said sweetly. She started forward and gestured towards the dead leader, "Why this worm was planning to sell you out to the authorities. He bragged to me how he was going to get off scot free and start a new life with his pockets a bit heavier than they had been to start with." She stopped with herself between the wererats and Krisrath. "Put those weapons away so we can discuss business."

Rushed, taking 10, bluff through Maglynn: 37.

Initially surprised by the sudden magic attack, Lloyd quickly adjusts and draws his sword, ready to counter if his unknown ally fails to kill on the first blow. Considering the possibility of other bandits nearby, Lloyd bellows in the most powerful voice he can manage "If any of you want to live, drop your weapons and come out where I can see you! That goes for you too, jackass!" (the thats for you too, jackass is directed at the initial bandit if he survives the magic attack, Lloyd waits to see the results before talking.)

Intimidation time! I hope there ARE others out there, otherwise I'll look like an idiot. woot! http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2549450/ 28.

Initiative: 17
Quick Draw Courtblade
Attack the spot where the arm appeared with a leap attack.

As the sling bullet flies out, Toshi quickly turns, drawing his blade and crouching simultaneously. With a sudden extension, he flies through the air slender and graceful as his blade; lithely as he moves, there's a terrible weight about him.

Seeing as i didn't notice the "and actions" part before i'll post Glim's actions now.

Glim will draw both daggers as he moves into the ally to help our friend who has had his purse cut.

Shade got a good look at the Pick Pocket as he snatched Toshi's coin and bolted for the alley.  As Toshi gives chase Shade begins casting Locate Person when he is smacked in the shoulder by a very well placed sling stone.  Concentration Check:1d20+10=23  He winces a bit from the blow but manages to finish his spell.

Initiative Roll: 1d20+4=13
