FMA had a good chapter today. Don't know if I can hold out for another month for the final one.
Watching Hero Tales on FUNimation's site. It's not bad. Got characters that are like monks, duskblades, and legacy weapons. Whoo hoo. Only seen the intro so far, and I'm liking it. Would make for an interesting campaign adventure.

In a world where everyone seems to have incredibly hax powers Reimu's power is to "float through the air". In a series where every character can fly. Reimu's most powerful ability is Fantasy Heaven, which causes her to "float" out of reality, becoming immune to all attacks. In one of the fighting games it's an instant kill, and a hidden remix plays if you use it in the third round of a match. Guess how "Fantasy Heaven" is written? |

How neat.  It sure seems suspiciously similar to another song I know and love!  And you remembered I like messing with songs too! That was thoughtful. EDIT: I should probably open a topic for my music stuff. I translated (with the help of my Japanese teacher) such classics as Eye of the Tiger, Number of the Beast and Sweating Bullets to Japanese. Now all your favorites can sound like awesome anime songs!  |

Even if you eat sweets, you won't get fat
2. One of your favorite aromas can be given off
3. The yin-yang orb can be disguised as a cat And because of how the games work, she's defeated pretty much every single other character in the series to date (except the Watatsuki sisters). |

And games aside, Yukari would exercise her power as GM of Gensokyo(just mess with the border between here and not here) to reach Reimu anyway. Marisa's commentary on it is pretty funny Reimu becomes completely impossible to touch. Opaque invisible man status.
This seems like Reimu's final attack, but it looks like she just closes her eyes and the danmaku aims itself and fires towards the enemy automatically. That said, Marisa is known to use Master Spark for rocket propulsion and takeoff. "Blazing Star" User: Me Notes: Become the wind, from myself type Usage:  ?? A spell card in which a backward Master Spark is used as acceleration to fly through the sky. It feels good to fly at extreme speeds. I wonder if Tengu are like that too. However, it's quite frightening to tackle at that speed... especially within forests or buildings. Star Sign "Dragon Meteor"

To shoot from a position of complete safety is so much fun.
It's hard to hit with the laser, but that doesn't matter.
Even if you lose a spell card battle, you win if you feel good. It's a game after all. A game isn't there to entertain you. You enjoy the game yourself.
Maybe when you reach the point when you can enjoy anything, you see the true glamour of the spell card for the first time.
What she says about the Master Spark itself is a little suspect though. A super fire power shot that penetrates the opponent. This feels good so I use it most often.
However, feeling good leaves you open, so there's the problem of making this danmaku difficult.

Corona's device is sorta odd, it's a knife, but since it uses an engrish voice, it's Mid-style, and her barrier jacket doesn't quite look like the close combat sort(well, granted that Vita's giant frilly dress isn't exactly a melee outfit either...). Not sure WHAT to make of her. Maybe it's an athame? |
