Oh, you know, I was just extrapolating on the idea of the spell, but the wording does say you "speak and understand" the language of any intelligent creature. Still, what I was trying to clarify was the Ghaele ability, which emulates the Tongues spell, but has some specific wording of its own. If we're ruling that Ghaele's just have a permanent Tongues spell as a Su ability, then that's fine.

That's basically what it is. most angels have permanent tongues on them. The wording is inconsequential because it says "as the tongues spell".

I may have missed this earlier, but Bhu, do you want us tracking encumbrance? It has a lot to do with how Mustave will buy his gear (like whether or not he wears armor).
Go ahead and keep track yeah. Now I'm wishing I would have taken Practiced Spellcaster instead of Two Weapon Fighting. Oh well. I think I can make due. There is a magical quality for weapons making them weightless hinty hinty

That sounds friggin awesome, what are the benefits of weightless weapons? And is it a gp enhancement, or is it like a +1. By the by, I will both enhance and gp customize my sword to high hell, same as my armor. They will probably be my two biggest gold sinks, just for character's sake. So please, no sunder-monkeys.

I'm pretty sure I've seen weightless or low-weight enhancements before, though they usually reduce the damage the weapons do since they don't have the same kind of force/weight behind them. As for weapons, Alcy's original, before being taken here, would've been a +4 Holy Greatsword. It'll take quite a while to earn enough gold to afford a weapon of similar value, though I'm sure she wouldn't mind a better weapon than +4 Holy, and getting a better weapon won't be quite as hard.

I may have to make something better up. As a +2 Enhancement it grants you +2 to Str (meaning the weapon just feels weightless), and you can wield a 2 handed weightless weapon one handed. Also weightless weapons may be used with the Weapon Finesse Feat.

Also weightless weapons may be used with the Weapon Finesse Feat. Why not just have Light weapon. worth +1. The weapon weighs 1/2 (if one-handed) or 1/3 (if two-handed) and is now considered 1 size smaller for the purposes of wielding it. This means you can get weapon finesse on one-handed weapons without using DEX to hit with greatswords.

When you use a tool the way it was designed for -- its intended function -- then it will work very well for you.
But it's not the tool's fault if you use it for something else and you fail utterly, such as trying to eat cereal with a butterknife, pounding nails with a screwdriver, blogging to voice your political opinions, and brushing your teeth with a hammer.

In general you can all post the info she wants one at a time now.
Does she ask each of us if we can read minds as well, or is that just for specific people? Just wondering what specific info she wants from each of us.

Yeah, I think she asks us each in kind, but if not I'll just post my response now.
And so long as I have my magic flaming sword and sleek imperial-white armor, I dun care much, the more creatively awesome the better.

If the weightless thing applied to weapons, I might not use it. Most everything I use is quite light. It's more for the armor and for larger quantities of throwables, like daggers and acid flasks.

Well i think pretty much all of my money is going into a spear from now on... can't wear armor though enhancement bonuses to CHA are obviously nice...
Can you have armor spikes with no armor? it doesn't say you cant and I'm interested in having armor blades later on...

Right, but it still wouldn't get rid of armor penalties and spellcraft failure. Cumbersome armor is still cumbersome no matter how much it weighs, and metal armor will always clink as you move in it.

Spikes have no check penalty or failure chance...
Mostly i need to be unarmored (like a monk) to retain my Charisma bonus to AC so check penalties aren't so much of an issue.

Ah, "unarmored"... you really wouldn't be able to wear any kind of protection, which even lighter than light armor would still be.

Hence I'm wondering weather I can add spikes to clothes, spikes aren't armor themselves. I'm not sure you understood what we were talking about
