The interesting question is how Mindsight works with the Society Mind's telepathy.  It works to the limit of the network range, and Mindsight works to the limit of the telepathy range, so that should mean that Mindsight works to the limit of the network range.  Which can get absolutely awesome at really high levels.
And this is a problem?  Blush

I'm considering switching the Cleric half to Ardent.  That way at I could use metamorphosis later on to take the form of a piece of jewelry and be totally inconspicuous in my buffing role.   Smirk

For the Mindsight/Society Mind thing the common interpretation would probably be that you can tell the location of anyone in your network. Those who your telepathy does not affect also shouldn't be affected by Mindsight. Purely RAI. Away from books right now.

Yep, that'd be the RAI.  I like the RAW better on this one; it's more fun.

If I were the DM for that, you'd be making concentration checks every round to keep from being overloaded your mind. Wink

I hope you would do the same thing for regular vision on a clear day from the top of a tall tower, then.

@Sinfire, would my Druid/Summoner still get 1d3-1 FP?

Are we allowed to use Frank and K classes? That would change some things.

I suddenly want to steal the the Silvana Delphinus now

Silverna

I own the series, and like it too much to allow such typos to occur.

Really? Well blow me down, my dubbers messed up big time. I was right then in thinking its a source of inspiration?

Skies of Arcadia came out long before Last Exile, and the game may have influenced the series heavily. The Delphinus was the third ship you got during the storyline, and was by far the most powerful thing you'll ever own. The Silverna would never have been able to stand up to the Moonstone Cannon, though in sheer tactics I would put my money on Alex before Vyse, if due to sheer experience.

Sinfire: I present Daz Reefcrush for your critique. She's a Hobgoblin Marshall//Paladin Gunner in the Armada aiming to become an Admiral at some point.  I haven't done equipment yet... Is it standard for level 3 (if this is mentioned somewhere, my apologies, I missed it)?

Standard WBL. I never gimp my player's wealth.

That reminds me we had the 2nd (?) Admiral heading to Yafutoma for a wedding... I'll have to go back and re-read the thread.

@Tshern: Sinfire allows an almost complete rebuilding at every level-up. I think you could get one now if you wanted less overlap wit Lochlyn.

Quote from: Sinfire
Profession: Sailor, Knowledge: Geography/Architecture and Engineering, Balance, and Use Rope all work wonders for ship battles. YOu only really need the Profession skill to contribute, but all four of them really help.
And Jump to take the battle to the enemy ship ! (who needs ropes for that ? Wink)

2nd, 4th, and 5th. The 2nd and 4th are the escorts to the 5th. As for Jump vs Use Rope, if you fail the Jump check you will most likely die from it. At least the Use Rope check offers two chances to save yourself (the second only applying if you tied the rope around yourself).

Your Telepathy is limited to members of the network, right? If so, it doesn't allow you to see creatures outside of the network (still a great way to keep track of party members though).

Looking at Valua(that's the military one, right?)

Strongheart Halfling Factotum/Warmage Fix

Yes, Valua is a heavily militaristic country. And the Warmage fix is fine.

And requesting participation at either the Ixa'taka campaign or the Silver moon one (mid-ocean?). I'm still unsure about which one....

Ixa'taka is the one that has been transfered.

I'm going to commit Gargel to the Ixa'taka campaign, if there's one setting up. I know that doesn't automatically get me in, but I thought I'd mention it... again.

Got it.

No problemo.  It was just a thought experiment with the RAW.  Smile  I'm totally fine with this ruling.

@Sinfire, would my Druid/Summoner still get 1d3-1 FP?

Druids, in general, get the minimum of 1 FP, with Shapeshift Druids or underoptimized ones getting the potental for 2 points. THat's the problem with playing the Big 5, most of them will end up with 1 FP off the bat.

I call for your help guys.

I'm going with this for now:

LN Azurin Moon Magus (green)//Incarnate 3

Flaws: Innatentive, Vulnerable
H: Bonus Essentia
F: Split Chakra (the one on the armor slot)
F: Improved Initiative
1: Law Devotion
3: Knowledge Devotion

I didn't put Power Attack there because I have the Bite of X spells to give me that (but it will take a while until I see them). Should I swap Knowledge Devotion for Power Attack? And since it's my first time with Incarnum, any tips on the soulmelds to pick? Incarnate Avatar for sure, but what about the others?

@Sinfire: how different is your Soulborn fix?

Is there a knowledge skill for Military Tactics(or War in general) or do I just roleplay my intelligence score?
And what kind of Fate Points am I looking at with Factotum/Warmage?
