Not really related to this game but I'm laughing at the idea of a character that is a Draconic Magic Blooded Unseelie Lesser Aasimar. Why? Because that family has to be sooo messed up.

Was it a party, or a gangbang?
Or was it a party that had a gangbang? Truely, some freaks of nature are to strange to guess at.

It was an adventuring party that just got the Book of Erotic Fantasy  Wink

That's a circle jerk dude, not a gangbang. There's nothing around to get banged there. BTW, true fact, the non WOTC book that is in the most major bookstores is the Book of Erotic Fantasy.

But their characters would. Unseelie, Aasimar, Dragonborns, etc sounds like a geekboy adventuring party to me. And you know those geekboys love their slinky elven fey touched sorceresses  Smile

Yes they do love their dollies, don't they? I'm sorry but Sexpot Sally doesn't actually count as a female at the game, even if you give her a character sheet.

I have a preference for Yafutoma, two reasons : If I go with the Warblade/Chronomancer I was thinking about, I can have a Zen Swordmaster flair that seems really appropriate. Second : Tshern !  Big Grin

Sinfire: Which settings would you be porting/altering and bringing over? I have a warforged deep sky delver (Cleric//Totemist with the blackwater domain) that would fit into Mid-Ocean wonderfully, but if you're not bringing that one, I'll pick a different setting Big Grin

I would love to join, but it just seems beyond my scope of capabilities to handle so much information all at once.  Sad

I'm thinking Wilder//Marshal or Wilder//Binder. Add templates to get Cha up there and we're in business. I've alway wanted to try a Wilder...

I'm...not even sure what to make of this setting.  Somehow I have difficulty wrapping my head around it without visuals (and I never played the game).  It sounds like a lot of fun but right now I'm just experiencing information overload.  @_@

Does "minimum 10 before racial mods" mean we start at 10, or at 8 as per standard point-buy rules?

My understanding is that you start at 8, per normal point buy, but you have to spend at least 2 points in each stat, giving a 10 across the board before racial modifiers...

I'm on info overload.  What roles do we still need, or is this spilling into new moons already? o.o

That, and my opti-fu is as yet largely untested and weak.  I fear becoming a burden with so many high power rules in effect (never done gestalt, only 1 year experience with DnD so far).  Anyone willing to help me out a bit?  The one build I sort of know is gish, but as I'm playing one in Brainpiercing's campaign, I'd like to try something different.

EDIT: I love Arcane Magic, because it's flashy, fun, and allows for a lot of creativity.  I suppose that's sort of a distilled version of what I'd be after with any class.

Hey SiFir, you want to move the ice setting here?  And all of the game here?  Gleemin is really getting on my nerves, and I'm sure it's getting on other's nerves as well.  It's seriously been down four times in the last 15 minutes.  Up long enough for me to click on one thing each time.

Wow, that's some interest. I'm a Factotum//Moon Magus (Sinfire's homebrew class) for what it's worth. Tshern and I are mildly optimized (he's a Crusader//Psion), nothing crazy.

Looking forward to see what will come of this... Smile  :fan :cc

@Lochlyn: oui, rejoins Yafutoma ! On pourra parler en francais en pretendant que c'est du Gnome (par exemple).

Lol, c'est tres joli, que tu as écr(ir)ant la. Mais je ne suis pas de Japan et tu n'insulte pas mon famille Wink

Brushing up on my French isn't even that bad

On a sidenote, what class would merge well with Marshall? Spellthief perhaps or sorcerer or even Bard?

You might want two things :

A) Stacking auras (paladin, dragon shaman, binder [focalor], etc...)

B) Build up a lot of charisma synergy
