I'm a Conjurer/Incantatrix in a party with a Cleric/Crusader/Ruby Knight Vindicator, an Artificer, and a Druid.  We're level 8 going on level 9.  Know what that means?

Incantatrix is powerful epic.  This could be an epic or a near-epic class for Metamagic Effect alone.  I have the power to, by the rules, greatly determine how the DM challenges us.

Looking over this buff list, I realize there's discrepency between game logic and real logic.  In game logic, if something's too powerful, it's nerfed.  In real logic, if something's too powerful, it wins.

How else can the DM reasonably challenge us?

By making you consistently face enemies 4-5 CR's ahead of the party?
By having you fight in an entire dungeon worth of anti-magic field?

social situations that are Non-combat ..... he can mess you up in Social circles with Bad press, Gossip, rumor. ...... if he makes you an Outcast hated by everyone Good or Bad

That's why all proper uberparties make sure to have someone take a Thrallherd cohort   "You don't want to tell them that...follow me, you'll never be happier serving with us..."
