I have an artificer follower who is level 7. How'd you manage that? might makes right. Leadership mod based on str instead of cha. Kuro rules it to work for the command feat[combat] too. Except that your cohort's level is still capped at 2 below yours. And Command just gives you someone with a CR 2 lower, regardless of your Leadership score. This feat could help though, especially if combined with thrallherd. It's not his cohort that's level 7. It's a follower. They're technically not capped at ECL-2.

So, will I just knock off 6,000gp for three wilding clasps or does everyone get all their items half price?

yep. fortunately i'm nice enough(and scared enough of kuro's revenge) to not set up a leadership loop. when we're done with this mission, he's gonna make: a chicken gun. a permanent Expel Soldier Suit for Kyx and your wilding clasps and some more bombs. and a giant robot called optimus doomHe will supply the money. I have a huge network of warforged selling spells and assorted services, and he has nothing better to do with the money than craft shit for us or, well, he probably has, but i'll tell him to craft our shit instead.

So he's not making the wilding clasps until the mission is done? Do I have to run around naked until then? EDIT: Ah, you mean that he'll craft additional pylons clasps. I can live with that.

You should be. Therefore, my mission as a DM is halway complete. Keep in mind that the components for said robot will likely be less fantastic than you hope for, at least at first.

clearly, he needs to put ranks from his Construct HD into perform, then run a round with a bunch of those magical music instruments. I'm sure there's a lyre of charming(or equivalent) somewhere.

Phaedrus, those status suck. Also, you did it wrong. Roll for the physical stats. This, strangely enough, DOES include Constitution. If you care to ask in-game later, I'll be happy to provide you with an explanation.
Ok, rerolled and got 15, 14, 15. 5d6 ? [1,3, 6,6,3] = (19) 5d6 ? [3, 6,3, 4,4] = (20) 5d6 ? [1, 6,2, 3,6] = (18) 5d6=19, 5d6=20, 5d6=18 So... is this thing getting a Con mod to hit points? And if so, how many hit dice does it count as having? Same as me? And it's still going to take damage as an object, even though it has a Con score?

Relax, you two. I've got you covered. Phaedrus, those status suck. Also, you did it wrong. Roll for the physical stats. This, strangely enough, DOES include Constitution. If you care to ask in-game later, I'll be happy to provide you with an explanation.

And if so, how many hit dice does it count as having? Same as me? And it's still going to take damage as an object, even though it has a Con score? Those won't be affecting your HP. They will, however, affect Fort rolls - those you have to make anyway.
