Cone of Cold as a 1st level spell? I get that blasting is usually crappy, but who the hell is HIGH enough to let that fly, usually?
Is there no cost at all for Flare of Magic? Flinging blasty spells nilly-willy is one thing, but when all of them are empowered to top it off, it gets a little... fierce.
I'm still probably averaging less than Risada's ubercharger, and I'm bleeding spell slots like nobody's business. Range is also only 60 feet on Cone of Cold. It really is a terrible fkn spell, at least as a 5th. Even at 3rd, I'd still pretty much always pick Fireball, and THAT is also considered a crappy spell. So... 2nd level, maybe? And wouldn't Arcane Thesis do basically the same thing as far as Empowering (only on one spell of course, but still... this is a Tome feat we're talking about...)? Basically, I'd like to be able to actually blast stuff effectively, rather than having to resort to Telekinesis and/or Shrink Item shenanigans to do decent damage... Edit: Also, it fits with his "I'm the ghost of an ancient white dragon" story. A nasty "breath weapon" that does a mix of Force and Cold damage? Yeah, that sounds like something a ghost white dragon should be able to do. Allowing a save means most thing will probably only take half of that, also. And then you can resist half of it via Cold Resistance/Immunity. I felt kind of cheap having to resort to using Shrink Item crap last time... but I didn't really think much of the rest of my spells would have been useful at all...

Bigger guns? Check. Spellstoring Ammo? Check. Armor upgrade? Check. Upgrade crystals? Check. More instant-tree tokens? Check.
So, now I've gotta think what else is reasonable to buy?
Also, that +5 to all stats thing was a joke, right?

Don't think so. I already added it to mine... I also allowed the same thing in my game that uses the Wish economy.

All things considered, you'd average more damage on Scorching Ray, probably (since Empower Spell would multiply EACH ray, instead of a flat number of dice). Have you considered the usage of Reserves of Strength? I don't think you CAN be stunned, realistically speaking (and even if you did, a custom item of Favor of the Martyr would be a small investment). That feat REALLY kicks ass when combined with augmented CL and low-level spells that tend to suck based on cap rather than save or other things.

Doesn't Reserves of Strength take immunity to stunning into account? I think for people immune to stunning it does damage instead, or something like that. Don't have the source in front of me right now.

Second level sounds reasonable. All things considered, you'd average more damage on Scorching Ray, probably (since Empower Spell would multiply EACH ray, instead of a flat number of dice). The DC is also going to be for a 1st level spell, remember, and thematically I'd really much rather have a cone of cold than a bunch of firey rays. I guess we could reflavor Scorching Ray to be chunks of ice or something, though... Hmm... and I could add Knowledge Devotion bonuses to each of the rays... which is worth about another die of damage per ray, I'd guess... And Touch attacks are easier to land than beating a saving throw, which also gets rid of Evasion problems. So really, Scorching Ray is a better spell than Cone of Cold. So why don't we just leave CoC at 1st, then? Have you considered the usage of Reserves of Strength? I don't think you CAN be stunned, realistically speaking (and even if you did, a custom item of Favor of the Martyr would be a small investment). That feat REALLY kicks ass when combined with augmented CL and low-level spells that tend to suck based on cap rather than save or other things.
I might take it later, but I'm honestly not trying to break the game or anything. I just want to be able to blast for decent damage, without resorting to dropping shrunken volcanoes on people. I think that Flare of Magic is exactly the kind of feat that is needed for that. Of course, it becomes a "must-have" feat for anyone who wants to blast, and it would be preferable to just increase the damage on all direct damage spells, but the feat is an easier "patch" than going through and fixing all the spells individually. Other feats I might take (instead or also): Energy Specialization or Energy Reshaper or Powerful Metamagic. Hell... in fact, I think I like Energy Reshaper the best. I can Substitute, Sculpt, Admixture, and learn vulnerabilities and resistances with it, as well as healing living or undead creatures. That's pretty awesome. Hell... I think I'll take both it and Powerful Metamagic. Sculpted, Maximized, Admixtured Fireballs, anyone? (And still half Force damage! ) and I'll be able to selectively (with Sculpt) heal my allies, too, if I want.

I dumped Flash of Magic and the Cold sphere, and took Energy Reshaper and Powerful Metamagic instead. I also added Scorching Ray and Fireball to my spells known (Fireball via a Knowstone). I'll be able to nuke well (Sculpted/Energy Sub'd+Maximized+Admixtured Fireballs/Scorching Rays) and also heal my allies (Positive/Negative energy subst.), beat SR more easily (+1/2CL), and learn vulnerabilities (with a Spellcraft check). Is that OK?

Hmm, some of those Spellcasting feats look kinda nice. Persistent Spell looks like a nice alternative to the original.
There are also some really nice tome combat feats that would be interesting to have once I have the BAB to actually make use of them.

Yeah, but what are you going to do with 300 chickens, Brain? You clearly lack imagination. I just found a use for them: I'm going to cast Consumptive Field before buffing us all every day. (Although Paul can provide enough for that with just his Chicken-Infested Flaw...). Yes, that's right, we're going to start sacrificing chickens for REAL ULTIMATE POWER! YEEEHAAW! Do you think this will offend your deity, Paul? Or will it be OK if we prepare a feast with them afterwards? I only need 6 or 7, actually. This is purely for the CL boost for buffing. I'm not persisting it. I just want to get the +5 on Greater Magic Weapon (Chained onto everyone's weapons), and Magic Vestment. Edit: OK, I think I'll take Hardening as a spell known when I level up, and I'm planning on getting a couple different Runestaffs to replace my old one (I'll alternate days on which I use them, and Extend buffs with a MM Rod so they last 2+ days). One will contain Consumptive Field, which I'll be using to buff myself and the group with long term buffs from it. I'll throw down a Consumptive Field after I use a "consumable" of Create Magic Tattoo, which will crank my CL up to 20 or 21 (depending on if I sacrifice 6 or 7 chickens ). Then I'll cast Hardening on my "suit", and anyone else's gear that wants it. After that, I'll go get a DCFS (or whatever) to trade out my spells known and a couple of feats to get Kyx's sheet to look like it does in the Character Sheets thread. With a CL20 Magic Vestment (from one of the Runestaffs, with the CL boosting combo above running), that will boost his "combat suit's" hit points to 90, and its hardness to 35. It still won't have innate flight, but I plan to float around on a Greater Floating Disk for that. Overland Flight or Dragon Wings would probably be more optimal, but I think the whole "Magneto" look of the GFD is a lot cooler.

Bah, everyone knows the more evil something is, the more delicious it is. That's why pretty much all the delicious things in life are bad for your health. I'm going to get a custom "boat" made of soarwood, and float it around on a Greater Floating Disk as a cheap airship. This 25' sailboat looks fairly spacious and can sleep 6 in its cabin, and only weighs 2500 lbs empty. So something that size (or smaller) made of soarwood would be well under my weight limit (2100 lbs) if I cast the Floating Disk while my CL is jacked up via Consumptive Field. We can also stick an Enveloping Pit in there, so we can carry around a LOT more stuff if we want. In fact... let's make the "boat" a fairly small "barge", so we can just stick it inside the Pit when we need to Teleport/Plane Shift/etc. We'll have it made so that it fits tightly around the Floating Disk, so it won't tip over if we all stand on one end or something, and I'll summon the disk inside of it. We can build a little tower inside of the Pit as in this thread, and travel in style! I was also thinking of taking this feat to embrace Kyx's newly found mechanical side... If I could have these mechanical outfitted so Kyx could possess them with Magic Jar (as his "combat suit" is), that would be even more awesome.

Why do you need a boat when Eren can be a Colossal object? She's all-terrain.
