On rereading the text, it appears that you can only do that if you're the one who started the grapple. Improved Grab: If a creature with this special attack hits with a melee weapon (usually a claw or bite attack), it deals normal damage and attempts to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. No initial touch attack is required.
Unless otherwise noted, improved grab works only against opponents at least one size category smaller than the creature. The creature has the option to conduct the grapple normally, or simply use the part of its body it used in the improved grab to hold the opponent. If it chooses to do the latter, it takes a -20 penalty on grapple checks, but is not considered grappled itself; the creature does not lose its Dexterity bonus to AC, still threatens an area, and can use its remaining attacks against other opponents.
A successful hold does not deal any extra damage unless the creature also has the constrict special attack. If the creature does not constrict, each successful grapple check it makes during successive rounds automatically deals the damage indicated for the attack that established the hold. Otherwise, it deals constriction damage as well (the amount is given in the creature’s descriptive text).
When a creature gets a hold after an improved grab attack, it pulls the opponent into its space. This act does not provoke attacks of opportunity. It can even move (possibly carrying away the opponent), provided it can drag the opponent’s weight. This makes more sense to me anyway - if you grab someone in your hand you should be able to keep the grapple contained in your hand, but not if someone puts you in a Full Nelson.

I suppose it does, but Eren isn't big enough to put him in a Full Nelson.
Though I suppose the RAW is the RAW.

Eh, even if Eren isn't doing any damage, she's still forcing him to use up his actions breaking free.

She would, if it weren't for the fact she autofails the grappling attempt. From the RC, page 60: You automatically lose an attempt to hold if the target is two or more size categories larger than you are.

Owait, you guys are waiting on the SKELETON. My bad.
Kids, remember that the rule of cool is in effect. Do feel free to post how your characters choose to defend themselves - particularly good defenses will earn a circunstance bonus to AC.

Ooh, I forgot about that. From now on, my DfA breath weapon on normal setting will be coming out like a Mercury Dragon's, aka LASER breath! (It's all fire damage anyway!)

Is the skeleton on fire? The skeleton is entangled WITH fire (don't ask me how that works). As for whether or not you guys are hasted, depends on how many rounds have gone by (I remember someone asking before, and I gave an estimate of how many rounds you guys had left).

Prime, you once asked for a pic of a chick with blue hair for Eren's human form, right? Does purple work too? (NSFW ads)

Aye, new combat round it is. I'll have to remember noting that every once in a while. Sorry about that, guys.

I think Benign Transposition actually swaps places with me and someone, not two allies with each other. So mind if I change my last action? I'll just pick up my "suit" and swap places with the chicken, instead of changing places with whoever gets hit by the skeleton.
Never mind. Looks like it got changed with the Spell Compendium version.
