Yeah. Couldn't get on yesterday and it seems that nearly every game I'm in, after months of messing around, has decided it's time for combat.
Umm...the ghasts are all still invisible? I sort-of-kind-of can't see them then. I can run blindly with my weapon in front of me until I hit something though, if that's okay?

Flay goes before Paul on Initiative, so it should work out. I'll just throw out an attack roll and damage then.

How does Paul power attack and still manage to have a higher attack bonus than is listed for his normal attacks? o_OForgot about Knowledge Devotion. But I didn't see how much he Power Attacked for, so I got confused. Also, that is quite a lot of bonus damage. :O

Got a KD check of +4 attack and damage as well as +2 attack for charging. -5 attack / +10 damage for power attack. (Edit: also included the +1 from Haste. Those small pluses add up!) Also: Spell domain + Divine Metamagic for Persistent Wraithstrike.

Man, that really makes me wish I got into that one game that's starting up. I was making a hellfire eldritch disciple that at the starting level (only into ED, no hellfire yet) had +15 to melee pre-Knowledge Devotion, two iterative melee touch attacks from BAB for eldritch glaive, and a ton of ways to get move actions as swift actions to offset the full-round casting.
At 20th it would have had 16 BAB (from fractional BAB- 15 without it), and thus 4 iterative touch attacks of 12d6 each, not counting bonus damage from KD and other sources, cast as a level 16 cleric (divine magician), level 11 warlock (3 least/lesser and 1 greater invocation), all sorts of awesome cleric and wizard spells, etc. etc. Pretty standard build, but with the houserules I think it would have been pretty kick ass (despite Divine Power being banned). I'm definitely gonna look into recreating it if I can manage in some future game. Spoilered to hide boring shit no one cares about.

My build actually has little to do with melee. That's mostly just a secondary option and what he does until he reaches the level his primary option (Hint: Exploding Chickens) becomes viable.

I understand; I just feel bad I won't get to play my character after spending so much time crafting it.

So clerics don't even have to try hard to make everyone else feel small in the pants in melee? Right. I knew that.

Which do you think would be better for Eren to take next level? Wis to AC (+3) +4 to grapple checks Improved Unarmed Strike Immunity to stunning and critical hits Can grow natural weapons as a move action Faster access to the other warshaper abilities (since Eren would otherwise take levels in it after the monk level)

If so, go with Warshaper and just buy a monk's belt.

That depends on how many natural attacks Kuroi will allow you to grow at any one time. If you can have a full Bite/Claws/Gore/Tentacles/Slam/Rakes/Wings/Tails routine online, then fuck Monk. And also, Wish economy. Good point, PXY.

What level is that? 11th, unless I can get Incense of Meditation as a consumable. Requires 5th level spells and Ordained Champion puts me a spell level behind. No worries though - hitting things with a giant meat cleaver works for now. Edit: wrong incense...which one lets you prepare spells as if higher level? One of them does...oh, right, candle of invocation. well at least those are like toilet paper in the Wish economy.

I'm giving Flay till the end of today to post. If he doesn't, I'll skip his turn. Sounds reasonable, right?

Well, it's exceedingly unlikely I'll post anything until after noon tomorrow anyway, so that ought to be plenty of time.
