You can always move and charge. However, this is the second encounter of the day, so we should be reaching a milestone after this. So it's surely not a bad idea to spend your AP.
... It is? Crap, I could have used my action point as well

First of all, Flay, who are you attacking? Second of all, you can't charge to H3 from G2, you need at least 2 squares of movement to charge.
If you teleport to D1, you can charge K, if that was your intention.

Trying to take out S, actually. I'll tele to F2, charge to H2, can still hit him there and that's 2 squares. That should keep K in the 2 squares box range for my aegis as well.

Do you have some ranged attack I don't know about? S is in N1.

S is in I3 on the map. This. Just realized text wasn't with the map, and text trumps table. My mistake. Tele to G2, charge ending in M2, attacks slinger at N1. Editing post to match. Further, I know my role is a "defender", but I love being the occasional hit man.

Argh. It's in N1 on the map on my computer, I don't know how this disparity keeps cropping up. >_<

It's okay, I'm taking my role as Defender to a bit of an extreme.

We were in an encounter with three big plant monsters that kept engulfing me... and I kept going back out and keeping all three plants marked and close to me while the rest of the party pounded on them and the satyr leading them. And I didn't even use any dailies on that battle.

Can I get an updated map for round 5 or is the map from right after my turn in round 4 still accurate?

Sorry, yesterday was busy for me, as today is my birthday. Had to have the big family dinner last night so that my dad could attend and then catch his flight. I'll get the new map up in a sec.

Hi! I'm the new guy. Venn suggested I post here an introduce myself, etc.
Well, I'm Lot of Snow and I've posted around these forums a bit in the past, though not much recently. I've played D&D 4e steadily for just shy of two years and am currently DMing an adventure with some local friends that will be winding down in a couple weeks. Luckily, we pass on DM duties when that happens, so I'll be returning to my sorcerer in that campaign world.
About my character here, Heltrax Sinspectre is an infernal pact Hexblade (a warlock variant from the Essentials line of 4e products). I've neither played a warlock nor an essentials character, so this should be a learning experience. I'm still flushing out his back story, but suffice it to say he isn't really as bad a guy as some of his powers' effects might suggest (draining souls and such). Unlike your everyday warlock, hexblades, apparently, can move fluidly (well, kind of fluidly with a speed of 5) from range to the front lines, so I should be able to provide damage support where it is needed.
At this point, I'll be reading through the main thread and getting a sense of what-is-what prior to my entrance.
I'm looking forward to playing with you all.
