I'll assume Flay meant the guy at G11, since the minion at H10 bit the dust. Smile

If you will look at the map, you will notice there are two bloodied enemies (surrounded by red). Plus, all the others were minions, which can't ever be bloodied. That only leaves the two Dragonshields.

Speaking of the red, I thought it was clear, but I've been using a color system to show when a creature has some kind of effect on them. Red for bloodied, Green for Immobilized, White for Marked, Black for misc. effects. There'll be other colors as well, but for everything but marking I've been including the color when describing the effect in the text.

So just so you guys have that information in the future.

So, you guys are free to do as you want now. I've given you a nudge in the direction of the adventure, though you can feel free to act on it or ignore it. Just do something.

And by the way, can I get some feedback on the first encounter? Was it hard? Too easy? Too short or too long?

Anybody?

We were going at a nice pace during the encounter, and now there's been no post for 2 days. Was it something I said?

I'll give it another day before I PM people to find out what's going on.

My guess is people want to go after the sound, but don't want to just say 'my character goes in that direction', so they're waiting for someone to say something deeper they can respond to. It's not uncommon in PbPs, and it's happened to me fairly often (as a player, mostly).

Guess I should have asked for a perception check first to get people invested.

I just want someone to say whether they want to check it out first before forcing everyone to move in that direction.

I'm going to assume that it's okay that I just changed my alignment from Good to LG?  I kept changing deities around and want my alignment to match my god's.

That's fine, since it's so early and there wasn't any roleplaying before this. Though in Eberron, alignment is more of a gray-area. Still, nice to see some commitment. Big Grin

Sorry for the delay, I'm back (if maybe a bit slow at times).

No problem. I believe you said you were sick anyway, so no rush on anything. I just want you guys to get a chance to play, which of course shouldn't be on my schedule, but on all of your's.

Wait, did noone tie that kobolds feet and/or stay behind with our prisoner Confused

Is it too late to track him/send my hawk up to scout?

Also, about those firepots, what do they do exactly? Smile

No one mentioned they were going to tie him up or stay/bring him with, so I had to go with the next logical conclusion.

You can send your hawk out to find him if you want, but it's going to need to succeed on 3 Perception checks. You can then make a melee basic with the companion to either knock the kobold out or kill him outright.

As for the firepots, they deal normal sling damage and on a hit they also deal ongoing 2 fire damage (save ends) to the target.

Thanks, I'll do that then.
I'll follow on the ground.

Gimme a couple of minutes to write up a new post, still definitely not 100 percent...

Shall I assume everyone's just going to head off for Winterhaven now, then? Or is there anything else you guys want to do first?

I'm sorry guys, but personal issues have taken a turn for the worse during the last couple of days, so I'm afraid I won't be able to participate for the time being. I'll be back eventually though, hopefully within 2 weeks time.

Feel free to NPC Curyll for the time being.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Bowen
