Aanna can probably spout something to manipulate him. The demon-worshipping forces of evil are using trickery, we must rest and regroup to attack again with renewed vigor. Or something like that.

It looks like I'm about to be out of touch for four or five days, I have an out of state job interview this coming Monday. If I get the job, I'm going to be out of touch for even longer as the job starts the Monday after that.

Good luck with the interview. I'll be out of town next week as well but will have internet access.

I'll try to use the intervening time to get the campaign materials caught up and ahead of schedule. Break a leg!

NONONO! No rush, just making sure I wasn't holding things up. I've got federal aid forms, taxes, college-related paperwork, work, and finding/moving into a new place on my plate, I definitely get the busy thing. I was worried I'd overlooked something in the confusion that is my current situation.

I figured that I should update you guys since it's been a week now.   Tongue

I was lied to about the job description, and furthermore the company never called me back after the interview.  So still no job, but it looks like I'm going to be moving relatively soon and trying to find a job after the move.

Important update about my life: It looks like I'm going to be moving either next weekend or the weekend after. I'm going to be moving in with family for an unknown amount of time, and I won't have a household internet connection. I don't know how often I'd be able to get online.

Sorry to hear that. When I get things back up and running again (which, to be quite honest, will probably coincide with the end of my class for the quarter, in a couple weeks), do you want Amnon to be NPC'd for a while?

I'm not sure.  Would it be better to do that or have him drop out and possibly come back later?

My computer is getting packed up tomorrow and I don't know when I'll be able to be a regular part of the board again.  I guess Amnon should just solo the kobolds and become a martyr since this game seems dead anyway.

It's really not dead, I've been in the middle of finals and before that my class and search for work (among helping my folks get the house ready to sell, and helping with a leak in the basement from the recent rain and massive amounts of snow melting, etc.) have taken up a ton of my time. The game has unfortunately been on hiatus, but I'm not giving up on it. I hate that I have to keep doing this to you guys, but I haven't had the time to update, same as I haven't been able to start the other game I was thinking of starting up. Just not enough time to think and process new stuff.

I'll NPC Amnon through this encounter, and find a reason for him to venture off. There are plenty of reasons, and I'm used to rotating characters in and out in the "Prime" version of this campaign.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I'm not going to kill this game off. It's been difficult, but it will update again, and soon, once I get my schedule sorted out. Future combats after this one should be easier to manage, but we've yet to get through this one.

So, I need to know: Who's still around and willing to continue on? I'll probably PM anyone who doesn't respond sometime tomorrow after work, but for now I'll just leave this here.

I'm stretched, but still here. It's been a long while since I've played 4e, though (in fact, this is the only such game I'm in, as it was when it was last active), so I'll need to get back up to speed.

I'm around checking in occasionally. I have been neglecting most of my PbP games as of late though. If this gets really moving again just poke me and I'll make it a point to get in here and post.

So I realize it's been a long time. I don't want to give up and end this, but with my life right now, it's hard to dedicate enough time to keep this running. I'm thinking that as soon as I get in the right schedule, I'll be able to get this moving again, but a lot of things have changed. Our line-up is mostly the same, with a couple changes. We were right in the middle of a big combat, and what's more is it's kind of plot related. So I can't just 100% skip it. What I can do is skip ahead to the main boss fight in this encounter, and then we can move on from there. It won't be too huge, but once again, it's plot sensitive. Furthermore, there have been a lot of supplements and articles released in the meantime. Given how long it's been, some of you may feel a detachment from your characters, in which case I can give you the chance to start from scratch, either subbing in any new characters directly, or finding another way to reboot the campaign, post-expository recap.

If anyone's got any objections or alternate suggestions, or need to drop out due to having joined too many other games in the mean-time, please speak up.
