About Lay on Hands replacement: See what Agita said. One thing a level? Well around level four or so I'll have my powers the way I want them then. That's the way it works. I did give you the chance to retrain the whole character, before we started playing again.

Guys, quick question: do I go after the running kobold, or I try to kill K?
Somehow, the kobold manages to deflect the longknife back into Golkonda's hand. You find that you can't target K unless he's the closest target. You're going to have to choose another target for your attack, though you're likely to hit any of them with that roll. The same rule applies to everyone. Hey, don't look at me, I didn't make this guy up myself. Well, there's your answer.

What's lay on hands, again? just spend a surge? I really don't feel like looking it up.

Yes. As a standard action. For touching others... I may be mistaken, but I think the surgeless healing also uses the Paladin's surge value. In any case, healing yourself isn't the primary function, giving your surges to others is. Acting as a Dwarf a few times per day is a bonus.

D'oh. Edited.

Don't worry, I got it. If all of our battles are going to be like this, I think I'm going to be happy with my massive amount of powers that mark things within range of me.

Sorry to disappoint. Every battle after this one will be just one big guy pounding on you guys. And they're all named "Big Steve."

Don't worry, I got it. "The Paladin touches himself" is old. Even I have standards, you know.

Clerics and Druids are like the 4 and 2 in 42. Together they are the answer to the ultimate question in D&D. Retire the character before the DM smacks you with the Table as the book will feel totally inadequate now.-Hazren

Alright, he's pretty far over, anyone able to hit him from that range? Because I can either try to chase him, or deal a last hit to D, but no way am I getting the little shit in this turn.

If you're concerned about last hit, you could use your action point to get an extra action and kill D (considering IC will help us this time) then go after the other...

You can always move and charge. However, this is the second encounter of the day, so we should be reaching a milestone after this. So it's surely not a bad idea to spend your AP.
