I made the mistake that all DM's make... that the players also pay attention to their cues for initiative.

Sorry. As an aside, I've realized that I want to change out my encounter power, it's worse than my racial encounter and I've never used it so far so I obviously don't like it that much. So whenever convenient to the story (I can wait till leveling if you want), I want to retrain it. Edit: If I survive. I think Amnon might secretly want to become a martyr or something. Edit part deux: There, was that worth waiting for?

Do you have some secret ability to make saving throws at the beginning of your turn that I forgot about? Hate to say it, but I was waiting for a whole lot less than that.

You honestly expect me to remember 4e rules? Really? This is the only 4e game that I play. Fine, I'll go edit it so my turn can suck.

Don't worry, I've got a surpriiiise waiting for you. And other people. Sorry, you don't get special treatment, the others would get jealous.

You ruined my awesome plan. As a consolation prize you better let me keep my reflavoring of Amnon's Second Wind, since that is literally all I can do. I can't even mark someone. Edit: I just realized that I sound really pissy. I'm not, I'm just in the middle of arguing with an ex and I was really happy with my turn before I found out that I fucked up the order of operations for saving throws. Don't worry Venn, I still love you.

Sorry. Just keep in mind that enemies are capable of battlefield control just like you guys are.
Also, sorry to hear about the personal problems.

It's fine, don't worry about it. My plan was awesome, but we're level one. I'll have plenty of time for more awesome plans to make myself a martyr.

Alright, now's the perfect opportunity for Gerand to move in and use Sword Burst to clear minions and hopefully deal some more damage to D. And if I'm not mistaken, Aanna now gets cover from the square she's in (more importantly, denying it to K).

Aanna might get cover from K, but otherwise she's out in the open. And Gerand's got to wade through a couple OA's to hit the target you painted for him.

If D moves to B6 as a reaction to Aanna shifting, and thus before she makes either of her attacks, she'd have had CA against it from flanking with Golkonda, if I'm not mistaken. Still, I don't imagine a 16 hits its AC.
Also: Fucking kobolds and their shifty antics.

Actually, Golkonda is in B5. Currently, you're being flanked.

I didn't expect to hit with the OA but come on man I have to make a decent impression and rolling 1s ain't gonna do it.

Clerics and Druids are like the 4 and 2 in 42. Together they are the answer to the ultimate question in D&D. Retire the character before the DM smacks you with the Table as the book will feel totally inadequate now.-Hazren

Actually, Golkonda is in B5. Currently, you're being flanked. But the map... *checks Risada's post* Meh, being flanked is pretty much a given when you're being zerg rushed by kobolds. I'm not too worried about that.

Ah, sorry, read the map wrong. In that case, post kill, I'll move to B8, then tag the bastard at B6. Problem solved, and I can smack a fool next turn.
BTW, do we have an OoC healer? Just curious.

Anyone can spend healing surges out of combat during a rest. Of course, you need to be able to take a rest first.
I'll post stuff in the morning after sleep.
