well assuming I make it to round 2, hopefully the dice gods will quit punishing me for joining so late. Don't worry, everyone has unlucky times with the dice. The druid in my tabletop game rarely hit anything due to low rolls, so didn't really do much controlling of the battlefield. Damn was she fast, though!

.... So, Agita slides me, right? I just wanna make sure I'm not holding up the game. Ready to respond, just as soon as I know where I've been slid.

I think Agita is basically saying you guys get to choose where to slide, even though I said it's technically up to Aanna and not you guys.

I'm too lazy to pick a square. Surround me with as many kobolds as possible, or as many as you can within Close Burst 5. That would make Amnon happy.

I'm not asking people to pick squares. I'd be a lousy Leader if I did that. I just want input. Unfortunately, both Gerand and Amnon want kobolds around them. We do need to take care of that Slinger, though. So I definitely want to slide one of you towards him and the other intot he kobolds. Gerand has a burst attack, so I was leaning towards him getting surrounded, but then Nanshork chimed in.

I have a burst marking ability, that's why I chimed in like that.

Yes. But not a burst "kill minions" ability. Although assuming it works like DC, it would kill them if they attack someone else. And if they don't, it would put all the heat on Amnon rather than one of our squishies.

Yes. But not a burst "kill minions" ability. Fine, fine. Gerand can deal with the minions. Send me at the enemies that actually matter.

....I can determine what counts as an ally and an enemy in regards to targetting, right? They take care of that stuff in the PHB rules. I need to know where you two are getting moved, then what Gerand's turn is, then top of the round with Zap. I think this is moving at a good clip for now.

Alright, then. Amnon goes to G5, Gerand to F7. Am I dooming us all? One way to find out.

I notice that two minions happen to be in a perfect spot for Zap to... well, zap with a Blast. If he feels brave after getting some THP (remember to spend your free action on that!), perhaps even three minions plus the D guy.

What is granting the THP? I'll gladly spend some action on it, but I didn't see what it was that is granting it.

Clerics and Druids are like the 4 and 2 in 42. Together they are the answer to the ultimate question in D&D. Retire the character before the DM smacks you with the Table as the book will feel totally inadequate now.-Hazren

Ok got it. Thanks. The sheets don't have a THP slot so I'll just keep up with that in the thread.

Hmm, I guess technically Zap retroactively readied an action, so his initiative would be right in between the minions' turn. I'll just keep initiative where it is for now to cut down on confusion, but that means that yes, you could have saved at the end of last turn against the glue. I'll try to keep an eye on that stuff myself, too, for the future.

I had forgotten about it until I was looking at how much damage I took to put it on my sheet.

If Nanshork doesn't do anything by tomorrow, I'll just roll his save and we'll move on.
