Anyway, you guys are lucky! For these two attacks, I implemented the random bonus damage table I've been using in my table game, and wouldn't you know it, both attacks rolled up the Heart- Double Damage! This intrigues me, and I would like to know more. Mostly because it would be nice to know if there's also instances where this can turn against us. Imagine if Aanna got hit for 9 damage now and got double damage.

I only roll for player damage, not monsters.

tallan, don't forget that you've got Golkonda's Magic Weapon bonus, not that it changes anything in this case. Also, I forgot that your Cha is higher than your attack stat. >_>
Also, I'm guessing no one's keen on the karma rerolls, so maybe I'll just ditch them.
Nanshork, did you change the attack you were making? Your roll says Virtuous Strike, while your post says Enfeebling strike.

@Flay: Why are attacks against you at -2? Certainly not because of the mark.

Any attacks not against me. Anyone else, -2. Me, just fine. Sorry, realized I screwed up typing the "not" in there.

@flay: It's ok, don't worry about it. I figured as much, but I didn't want to overlook some feat or power/ability either.
@Nan: Ok, but please try to avoid that in the future. Otherwise you could save encounter or daily powers on standby, roll for an at-will, and not risk wasting your expendable powers, then switch them in if the roll is good. That's just plain abuse of the PbP system, and something I couldn't tolerate.

I understand, but fyi both of them are at-wills. But one of them is significantly more potent than the other.

I am aware, which is why it's not quite so bad this time, but even so, switching around is discouraged.

It is? Holy shit. For some reason, it didn't even register when I read your game post taking the turns of the Dragonshields. To clarify: The kobold that ran for it was the one oriiginally in N7, yes? Did Gerand make his Aegis attack yet? Yeah, I'm just stalling. EDIT: Would the rock offer cover to the kobold in J6 if one were to attack from I7?

So. Funny story. I had this pretty cool description written up for Demoralizing Strike. I was even prepared to joke around, telling Risada "Let's flank this guy and show the Defenders what us Leaders are made of." Complete with a smiley. Then Invisible Castle goes and gives me a natural 2.

Y'know, I saw in the handbook that it applied to the attack, and thought "oh, so they must've changed it in 4e... weird..." Thank you for correcting me!

Wow, yeah Bowen... You sure do know how to kill Kobolds dead. Well duh, he's a Ranger. Venn's last post mentioned him shifting adjacent to you, IIRC. One trick I like to pull with archers is flanking a target with a melee guy and readying a Twin Strike to go off on the target's turn. OAs can only be performed outside of your turn, so he wouldn't get an OA, but RAW you can benefit from CA for flanking even on ranged attacks, IIRC.
