Lord M will start at D3, preferring to back up his psychotic and righteous ally, as opposed to inviting the blows.

Aanna follows the group in, her sword drawn and humming with magical energy. You all suddenly feel a cold breeze blow into the cave, a chill that is out of place in the region given the moderate temperatures afforded the area around Winterhaven. The humming stops, as though it were never there.

From behind, you hear a loud screeching noise, and instantly half of the goblins are lying on the floor, dead, most of them with several arrows sticking out of them. You could swear they had been standing in different places in the cave. You also feel some of the exhaustion of the fight flow out of you, leaving the group feeling somewhat invigorated. A harsh, bleating horn heralds the appearance of Ironteeth... again. You hadn't noticed that he had slipped from view, but his arrival seems to be playing out just as it had a moment ago.

Something is not right, but the tide of the fight seems to be not so stacked against our heroes anymore.

Gotta love being DM.

Anyway, everyone is entitled to make an Arcana check to identify Ironteeth. You're also entitled to either a nature or insight check regarding the screech. Or not, your call. Smile
By the way, everyone easily notices that Aanna is no longer in the cave, just seconds after charging in with everyone.

Everyone gets to heal as though they spent a healing surge (without expending one), and has one action point if they didn't have one before; daily powers are expended, but I'll let you refresh encounter powers.
That brings the hp totals for everyone, by my account, to:
Zap: 22 / 32
Golkonda: 26 / 28
Amnon: 27 / 29
Mytos: 25 / 27

Map:
Initiative:
Wyrmpriest   16 (higher mod)
Zap 16
Denwardens 13 (highest mod)
Golkonda 13 (higher mod)
Amnon 13
Ironteeth 10
Minions 4 (higher mod)
Mytos 4

Kobold's HQ Part 2, Round 1 - Begin!
A kobold dressed in black, hide armor and wearing a bone mask shaped like a dragon's skull, much like you encountered on the King's Road not long ago, peeks out from behind a burly, heavily-armored ally and hurls a sphere of magical flame toward Lord Mytos. The fire burns Mytos, still disoriented from the rapidly altering stream of events, for 9 fire damage. It then starts chanting in Draconic, as a brief glimmer envelops each of the other kobolds before fading away. The glimmering provides a quick distraction, allowing the kobolds to shift positions slightly.

First lets see what is going on: Arcana (1d20+5=7) , Nature (1d20+5=6) (apparently I don't know crap.

Move to C2 then Lightning Strike (1d20+5=20, 1d8+8=10) At IronJaws and the one at L7 can take 2 points from the secondary damage on LS.

You're right. Changed. I've got it correct in my info sheet. It's gonna take a bit for me to get back into the flow of things as well. Smile

Zap manages to shock Ironteeth pretty well, but the creature doesn't seem deterred. One of the other kobolds receives a minor shock, but is still going. It seems to blame Zap for the shock, because it darts around the gathering battle in a play to get at the Sorcerer.

The other of the heavily-armor kobolds hustles toward Amnon, hoping to strip away the Adventurers' defense.

Double Movement with a side of Shifting as a minor action:
L7->A5
H15->E6

Golkonda you're up!

Golkonda takes a quick step towards Gerand, chants words of protection to bolster Amnon, and throws his long knife at the kobold facing the paladin. As it is thrown, the blade gets coated with acid.

Arcana Check: 1d20+11=13

Argh  Bang Head
----
Shift to D4
Resistive Formula on Amnon - +1 Power bonus to AC, and you can spend this as a free action to gain own surge Value +3 in THP
Scouring weapon on F4: 1d20+7=22; 2d6+4=11. If it hits, the kobold takes a -2 penalty to AC until the end of Golkonda's next round.

Will hold on my AP till next round, and see what happens...

Amnon takes the changes in the battlefield as a sign from Dol Arrah.  He yells, "Come to me foul creatures, come to me and die," then strikes the kobold next to him.

Minor action: Divine Challenge on the kobold in D6.

Enfeebling Strike on D6
Attack: 23
Damage: 10

If it hits the kobold has a -2 to all attacks until the end of my next turn.

Amnon cripples the Kobold, sending it shattered to the ground.

Though Ironteeth isn't much larger than the kobolds, he is definitely more imposing. He very nearly flies out of the corner of the cavern, thrashing his dual battleaxes wildly. Ironteeth charges Amnon, and despite the Paladin's fortified defenses, the axe comes down on him solidly.

Kobold in D6 is down.

Ironteeth charges Amnon, and hits for 6 damage. Ironteeth is now standing at F5.

Lord Mytos is up!

HP: 16/27

Mytos patted out the fire with a fury before turning back at his foe. He glared daggers tipped in frost at the Wild Irontooth, before lunging at his foe. Striking at a harsh and awkward downward angle, frost seemed to erupt from the swordmages blade as it struck the foe, and then the ground the foe stood on.

Move Action: to G5
Minor: Mark Aegis of Assault v Irontooth
Standard: Foesnare power, 8 (natural 1) v AC for 5 damage, if hit foe immobilized until end of next turn.

Yay double 1 roll on the first fresh roll!

The kobold mage laughs at the wounds your team sustains and calls out in Draconic, but holds off on his actions.

Zap will target Irontooth again and the one a A5: Shocking Magnetism: (1d20+5=22, 3d6+8=25)
Assuming that hits their Ref. They are each pulled 2 squares closer to me. I also deal 2 damage (+2 if storm power applies +1 if Tempest magic does too, i'm not sure) to any creature that starts its turn adjacent to me for the rest of the fight.

Attack #2: (1d20+5=8)

Ironteeth is hit by a nasty shock from Zap! He stumbles toward the halfling as the electricity surges through his body.

A second bolt heads for one of the armored kobolds, but it somehow dodges. It heads for the sorcerer regardless, jabbing him with its spear. It then takes a quick leap backward, hoping to avoid further shocks.

The other similarly-armored kobold charges in toward Gerand, whose magical warding deflects the jab.

Ironteeth got hit by the attack, but the other kobold did not. Ironteeth gets pulled to D3.

Zap gets his for 5 damage by the armored-kobold and is marked by it, who is now in A4.

The other kobold misses Gerand, and is now in H6.

By the way archangel:
neither Storm Power nor Tempest Magic apply to the damage dealt to creatures starting their turns next to you, since that damage isn't rolled. So, such creatures will just take 2 damage if they start their turn adjacent to you (including allies, by the way). Also, something I'd be willing to allow since it's still early in the game, but I'd say you could probably significantly increase your damage potential by reducing your Cha from 20 to 18 and increasing Dex to 18, giving you an extra 1 point of static mod damage and 2 more points for additional effects from powers dependent on Dex. You'd take just a -1 hit on attack rolls, but you'd gain a good boost not just to damage but, more importantly, to other rider effects as well (such as the length of the pull on Shocking Magnetism, for one), besides increasing both your AC and Reflex saves. Just a thought to consider.
Spoilered to save space. Smile

Golkonda takes two quick steps and engages Ironteeth. Then he charges his long knife with arcane energy and attacks his foe.

Move Action: shifts to E4
Standard Action: magic Weapon on Ironteeth (Int vs AC): 1d20+8=27 (29 with Combat Advantage from flanking); 1d6+4=10

If it hits, Amnon gains +1 power bonus on attack rolls and +3 power bonus on damage rolls until the end of Golkonda's next round.

The longknife slashes through Ironteeth's shoulder, and the creature bellows in pain from both its mouths. Now one of its faces seems intent on Zap while the other is eyeing Golkonda with a murderous gaze!

Ironteeth is bloodied now!
Also, please remember to note which defense your powers are attacking against.

Amnon darts past Golkonda, his longsword swinging toward Ironteeth with tremendous force. However, his heavy armor throws off his balance, causing him to miss as Ironteeth ducks below the blow. Furious at the the bizarre creature, Amnon invokes his holy wrath upon his enemies. A chill crawls up the spines of Ironteeth and the kobolds engaging with the party, causing them to visibly tremble!

Flay:
I'll post Ironteeth's actions in a bit, but first I need to let you know that he sets off your Aegis of Assault. He's currently in D5, Amnon's in C4, and Golkonda's still in E4. Where do you want to teleport to adjacent to him?

Will move to E6, to flank with Amnon, thus gaining combat advantage (with my past few rolls, I'll need it...).

Attack v AC: 10 for 6 damage

Man, sorry you missed! I was going to just roll for you to save time but decided you'd want to choose where to teleport and would want to roll for yourself.

Ironteeth shakes the chill off, and muscles his way between Amnon and Golkonda. He swings out the Paladin, his twin sets of jaws clenched in frustration. The strike misses Amnon, who deflects the attack with his shield. At that moment, Gerand teleports next to Ironteeth and slashes with his longsword, but misses. The goblin-like abomination cackles shrilly from both mouths, then strikes at Golkonda, and hits! White light erupts from Ironteeth momentarily as he becomes singed by the Paladin's holy power. Undeterred, he whirls like a blender next to Amnon and then to Gerand, continuing his wild, flailing bout of destruction by lashing out fiercely at the two. His deep rage is his undoing, however, as he misses the defenders, whose vastly different forms of shielding are both similarly effective against Ironteeth's chaotic blows.

The kobold spellcaster uses this opportunity to skitter toward the group and unleash a blast of flame at the congregated heroes! Moving in, he intones some phrases in ancient Draconic, breathes deep, and unleashes his Dragon Breath. Golkonda tries to brace for the fire, but ends up getting burned; However, Gerand's magical warding reduces the heat to a minimum. The spellcaster then hides behind his tougher-looking kobold ally.

I think I'm going to rule that Divine Sanction isn't a normal mark, and that the primary effects are the damage incurred from not attacking the one who marked the target. The benefit of this is that a creature can both be marked AND subject to divine sanction, which will explain why Gerand's Aegis went off.

Amnon moved to C4, then used Valorous Smite against Ironteeth. 1d20(1)+7=8 He critically missed! Luckily he can still use Paladin's Wrath to mark the two 'D' kobolds and Ironteeth with his Divine Sanction.

Gerand used his Aegis of Assault, but missed.

Ironteeth uses Double Swing, which allows him to make two attacks and to shift once before each attack. He misses Amnon, then attacks Golkonda and hits for 8 damage 4 damage (forgot to mention the damage before, so halving it to make up for this), though he activates the Divine Sanction by doing so, taking 7 damage. He then uses an Action Point to gain another action, which he wastes by missing twice! Geez, guys, stop being so awesome.

His continuous shifting lands him in D6 next to Gerand again.

The kobold Wyrmpriest moves to H5 and uses his Dragon Breath, catching Golkonda and Lord Mytos in the blast. Golkonda takes the full blast (9 damage), while Gerand takes half damage (4 damage). Finally, it shifts to I6

Temporary Updated Map since this was a confusing round:

Feeling alive from the skirmish, Gerand kept a cool eye on the positions of the kobolds behind him. Hoping to even the playing field (literally), he disappeared from Irontooth with a smirk, reappearing behind the kobold embroiled with Amnon! Pressing his advantage, his sword whips around him with blinding speed, striking with arcane force. His eye darts to Irontooth as he does so, wishing for another shot at the brute, eager to strike him down.
Irontooth remains marked.
Uses Feystep to teleport to A4, gaining combat advantage for him and Amnon on the kobold at B4.
Attacks this kobold with Sword Burst, 23 vs Reflex for (1d6+Int) 5 Force Damage
Well at least I hit him this time!
HP: 16/27
If Irontooth sets off aegis again, will teleport to his flank if possible, to greedily gain combat advantage; otherwise, will teleport to a spot above him on the map, or below if that is not an eligible space.

Yeah, was wondering whether you wanted me to roll or not. In the future, I'll let you go for it, just to be quick, and like above I'll post my expectations.

Flay (and others):
A4 is technically a wall. I had to recreate the map since it was acting funny in photoshop, and noticed that this map had transparency and the outside map was showing through. I fixed it in the last image, but I'll just say it's dark since it's right up next to the wall and let that area remain inhabitable; this fight shouldn't last long enough for it to matter anyway.

By the way, Flay, Gerand is at 12 hp, not 16. He started the fight at 25/27, but took 9 damage in the first round. Then another 4 this round, bringing you down to 12.

What I've got for everyone's hp right now:
Gerand: 12/27
Golkonda: 13/28 (26-4-9=13_[I forgot to mention he took 8 damage from the first attack against him in the last post, so I'll halve it for that mistake]
Zap: 17/25
Amnon: 21/29

Cal:
It is summer, and you are exploring a long-abandoned cavern deep in the nation of Karrnath. Blood lay splattered in several places on the ground and some of the wallsthroughout the cavern, congealed from exposure to the air and moisture as though it never had a chance to dry out. Strangely enough, some of the splatters seem fresh, though all signs point to this cavern being long devoid of what must have been kobold inhabitants. You catch a whiff of smoke as you notice a burnt marking on the ground where it had not previously been. Before you can move to investigate, you feel a sudden chill run up and down your spine. Suddenly, the clamor of battle rings in your ears as kobolds that had just recently not existed seem to be fighting off a group of larger humanoids. Something is clearly wrong in Karrnath...

From out of nowhere, yet as though he were always there, a tall man wearing chainmail armor and wielding a simple wooden staff appears near the back of the cavern, apparent to Golkonda and Lord Mytos but unseen to Zap as a wall blocks his view. Perhaps he had been hiding?

Calchexxis, feel free to act now. Rather than have you roll initiative and have to possibly wait even longer, I'll just have you at the end here to make things a little easier.

Cal is currently in M8.
