Hmm, eventually I gotta find some way to get Fist of Stone on a more permanent magic item, maybe 3/day or something if need be. Spending my whole turn retrieving the wand and then casting the spell often just takes too much time.

As for my equipment this level I may just go with some upgraded armor as well. Not that I'm hurting on defenses, really.
Isn't there some sort of wand sheathe in a gauntlet you could use? Or maybe strapped to your arm?

Depending on what is considered a weapon and your feat situation Quickdraw may prove a diverse solution for you.

Anyone got any suggestions for items to purchase, i still have tons of cash and feel like i'm wasting it if i don't spend it to gear up better than i have.

Wow that is really good. I even have enough coin to get the stag beetle too. Lvl 3 summoning a CR4 seems so wrong though.

Lets start by neutralising the advantage of them archers.
Maybe we can catch them in a crossfire of AoEs while they're still milling about in fog.

Stag is overpriced, scorpion is where it is at.

Standard action summoned monsters act on the turn they are summoned?

Good question.  If the item doesn't say one way or the other, I'll use the way Rapid Summoning works.  This is a Conjuration variant from UA that lets you summon as a standard action.  That rule says that the summoned creature gets to act immediately, but can only take a standard action that turn.

Sound fair?

I was wondering what sort of item might allow me to keep my wand at the ready without having to take quick draw. There's a wand sheath, or something, but it's a warforged component. Otherwise, there are several hidden spaces and the like, but I can't find one for a wand specifically. I haven't filled my 3rd level feat yet apparently, but I'd like to avoid wasting it on quick draw if possible.

I was sure there was a wand chamber for weapons/items that you might like, which basically means you can cast from the wand so long as you're holding the weapon. Might be a bit better, weapons are sturdier than wands. I think it's in complete adventurer...

Also, unless I'm overlooking something, I can't think of anything I particularly want to spend 1800 on... might just level, save my gp until next level, and then do some weapon/armor buffing.

The wand chamber allows only a single wand in a weapon or shield, but can be changed out with a full-round action, and activated without a separate action to fetch it, so long as you're clutching the weapon.

The wand bracer allows you to pull a particular wand from the sheath by flexing the appropriate finger as a swift action, but requires a full-round action to replace into the sheath. It's stated that more casters just drop the wand as a free action and pull out a different wand, as it takes less time.

The amulet of vermin could do with adding to the list of items that are a little overpowered for their cost, if not quite fully broken.

If I activated mine, the two scorpions going stompy over the monsters would have been over real quick.

The item itself I think is okay, the size of what it summons is a little off.

Yeah, Huge is nice, if for no other reason than grapples.  Even an ogre is hard-pressed to do much against it, and we're looking at a +10 racial bonus to Str and Large size.

Just an FYI my fiancee is almost at 4cm dilation so she will be going into labor any time now. If she hasn't begun labor by Monday they will be inducing her. So needless to say i may be a bit slow in posting and probably incoherent due to sleep deprivation.

Congrats, man!  Is this your first?

4 cm, already?  IIRC, isn't that the minimum that they check for in triage?  It's been a year-and-a-half since my daughter was born, so I forgot all the numbers.  Last I remember, they'll send you home if you're not at 4cm, and they're looking for about 10cm for labor, right?

Good luck, and don't let her break your hand squeezing!  Also, if you can help it, bring some snacks or something and make sure you eat enough.  The last thing you want to do is realize that you haven't eaten in hours due to hectically running around.
