I'm not sure what to do with wind propelled yet. I really think it needs some kind of scaling as all the others have, because as it sits it is a "good" version of far shot and that is it.

How about something like this:
Starting at 2nd level, the aeromancer may imbue a ranged attack with sonic energy. As a standard action, she makes a ranged attack with a ranged or thrown weapon. This attack gains a +1 competence bonus to the attack roll per two class levels, and deals an extra 1d6 points of sonic damage, plus 1d6 points per four class levels. The range increment of the attack is also increased by half its original value.
That will make it useful right at 2nd level (+1 to hit, + 1d6 nearly unblockable damage), and it won't really slow you down, because you're likely only making one attack a round at that point anyway. It won't scale super fast, but it's unlimited use. Also, the attack bonus is to effectively make you full BAB for that attack, as it's not a touch attack.

That sounds pretty good. My first reflex was actually to say it was too much, but after thinking over how the numbers will work out I think that may work pretty well.

I would so dip for that. Makes me kind of want to make a sniper out of it...going to need a huge spot score though.
Man now you have me thinking...off to find out how far I can shoot someone from.

The question becomes is 2 levels worth a +1 to attack, +1d6 sonic, and far shot. For most builds yes it would be, but i don't think it is over powering until you add in the other craziness required for the 17 mile shots but this may get it up over 20 miles now.

Remember: it's a standard action. It becomes pretty useless as soon as you want to take more than one shot in a round. So, I guess it could be a boost to someone who has a bow as a backup weapon, but to a primary archer, it will stop being useful pretty quickly.
I guess it would be kind of cool with splitting, but even then, you're averaging about Eldritch Blast damage, so it's not that crazy.

I think it works well since it isn't that great of a dip and what does the Aero care about losing out on 1 shot at higher levels he will probably have a hard enough time hitting with the one he takes using wind propelled shot, but at least he has a chance at it. I see this being the Aero's solution to the dragon running away, It may have out flown us and be out of spell range but that doesn't mean we can't plink him to death from extreme ranges.

What do you guys think about the intermediate saves? I don't know that they're necessary, but I'm curious what you think.
I'll change the Wind Propel ability with the one I posted.
Other than that, are do you think these are ready to test? What level do you want to start at. I figured at most, we probably only need to test levels where you get new spells.

I do like intermediate saves but they would mostly serve to confuse those who haven't encountered them before in other gaming systems. Granted these classes will likely only be used by the community here and maybe in a few games related to this community so it shouldn't be too bad as we can educate them.

They shouldn't be that confusing. They're explicit class features. It either uses the Swashbuckler's Grace ability or the Scout's Battle Fortitude ability.
What level do you think we should start testing at? Is 1 a waste of time? I guess it would be a good way to test out the base line of the classes, but 1st level can be pretty swingy.

I say that the medium saves would be confusing because some people will assume it is a mistake because they aren't used to seeing it.
1 is more about the dice than anything else. We could try 3ish as that is where the core of the classes really starts to come together.

I say that the medium saves would be confusing because some people will assume it is a mistake because they aren't used to seeing it. No, my point is, you won't see the intermediate saves in the save progression table; they're either good or bad. They show up in the class features section. It's a specific feature that adds +1 to a bad save at three different levels (2, 11, and 19?). But if they look at the table, they'll see bad Fort and Ref and good Will. When they look at the class features, in addition to seeing crap like Stonecraft and Natural Armor +1, they'll also see something like Battle Fortitude +1. 1 is more about the dice than anything else. We could try 3ish as that is where the core of the classes really starts to come together. Three could work. It still tests out the 1st level spell list without the whole omg-crit-you-die problem of level 1. Is everyone cool with making level 3 versions of these? I figure otherwise I'd use the same rules as we did for the other characters.

Sounds good to me.
When I see intermediate saves I think of Wheel of Time RPG which is where I first saw them. They just put it right on the table and didn't bother with class features to emulate it.

I have started to ponder how I would build a new character using this class and shortly after the thought of spell focus came to mind I realized you may want to declare what school the converted Psi. Powers are going to be in.

Still no variable class features? It'd be nice to have something in the class to generate some variance between builds.

Good point. That might take me a little bit. Still no variable class features? It'd be nice to have something in the class to generate some variance between builds.
At this point, no. I was having a hard enough time coming up with what I did. I figure the feats will make up for a lot of it, similarly to the Dread Necro and the Beguiler.

I can see a bit of picking from a list of spells to get as an SLA, or something, but I don't want the features to be radically different. Really, that's not the norm for 3.5.
