That was actually really clever. That, and the Create Water for the bonus. Did I add in all the right modifiers for it's attack? Sadly, it rolled something like a natural 3, but at least it will remain for a bit.
BTW, what is the CL of that scroll? 3 (2nd level spell)?

These little animated objects don't have much in the way of offensive power, but they are durable. With a higher hardness (8 if made of stone), they'd make pretty good harriers/blockers for a caster or something.

Yep, probably DC 11. The goal was to slow them down anyway so we squishies don't get frontlined so quickly.

You know Robby I think your dice hate Aepa. Every battle i have a really low initiative despite having focused on it in character development. I just wanted to point that out, and let your dice know that a 30 second trip in a microwave would be an unfortunate accident if it were to happen to them.  This does really drive home the point that a lot of COers forget. It doesn't matter if you have a crazy high initiative if you roll low and they roll high they probably get to go first. And as we all know going first is how to win at high levels. |

I was remarking at that this morning. That's something like three fights where everyone got the same comparative order. Sure, the numbers were different, but each time, the end result was the same.
I was thinking about rolling in a different order next time, just cuz. Of course, I understand that strictly speaking, it shouldn't matter at all.

Both archers have been rolling really well on their attack rolls. I bet Venn has to be happy for the DR. These types of fights are when DR is the most fun, I think.

Robby any chance at a stealth opportunity for combat? I have invested in hide and move silently and want to know if i should just leave them where they are so i can put those skill points elsewhere. Without hide in plain sight the stealth aspects don't lend themselves to the encounters we have had thus far. I took them figuring on doing lots of scouting for the party, but that doesn't seem too feasible right now.
