Hank's Bow would be considered a "moderate" magic item. It is above 15,000 gp, so you can't Wish for it (for free, at least). So you'd have to either loot it off someone, steal it, or trade an item of relatively equal value for it. Or craft it, I guess, depending on how he's handling that.
Or trade multiple items with a total value of about equal to it. No, that wouldn't work. Items worth 15,000 gp are considered basically worthless to those who can acquire unlimited numbers of them for free via wishes. And on a related note, an artificer would have to be house ruled to not break the Wish economy due to their ability to break down weak items and use the XP and gold from them to make more powerful ones.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?
Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Is anyone playing on planning an artificer? Also I thought they only recovered the Spent EXP and turn it in to reserve. Also by trade I mean throw at them, specifically beads of force glued together with that glue in the DMG.

When you use a tool the way it was designed for -- its intended function -- then it will work very well for you.
But it's not the tool's fault if you use it for something else and you fail utterly, such as trying to eat cereal with a butterknife, pounding nails with a screwdriver, blogging to voice your political opinions, and brushing your teeth with a hammer.

Clarification on the subject of wish economy/lack of gold trading:
Basically, it works the same. Instead of you not being able to buy magic items worth more than 15k for money, you're not able to trade them for magic items worth less.
Note that all the stuff that is employed as currency in the wish economy still works as currency(to the right people). this is because these items have an actual use beyond currency(which is why the wish economy uses them in the first place).

So when is this show getting on the road? I'm looking forward to it. I think I have my character completely done now (except I need to go over his skills more carefully... because some of them aren't class skills for all classes...).

I'll get my stuff thrown together by the end of the weekend.

This is getting On the Road when characters are done.
No deadlines, at least not until most people are done.

I just need to finish up equipment. Got about half wealth left, and I still need to buy a weapon. Not sure which to go with, as I've got such a wide range of options. Maybe get both a Greatsword and Glaive?

Also, i read your character in your build compilation. i laughed when i read your age. EDIT: but why isn't your BAB accounted for in your attack section?
